Fans won't turn off even when the car is off

Hello, I just purchased a 2008 RDX for my wife and of course everything worked fine until we got home.
I replaced the 30A fuse under the hood and it stays on. After 2 hours I had to remove the fuse so the battery doesn't die.
I hope this is not an ongoing problem or the start of worse things to come. We have had such a hard way the last few years so any advice is appreciated.

if you just purchased it, take it back to who ever you purchased it from!!! hope you bought from a dealer, so that they can trouble shoot.

if you bought from independent seller, hope you didnt get screwed

i think its normal for the fans to run a bit after the car is off...BUT not 2 hours worth! thats def. not normal.
the only thing i can think of right now is a fuse, but you said you took it out

Agree, many of my previous cars fans stayed on for a bit to cool things off but they should not be on this long. Did some research and it looks like it could also be a sensor. Not happy about this but I hope that's all it is and nothing major.
can't afford to park a car I'm paying for :-(

Are both the ac fan and radiator fan staying on?

The fans are controlled by the PCM via two seperate relays which are housed under the hood-fuse/relay box right next to the brake fluid reservoir on your car.
It is common where the relays on any make and model can fail and the contacts inside can stick in closed position (feeding constant power to fan/s).
Take the relay out and temporarily swap it with another 4-prong relay to check if the fan stay on/off. You can use the rear window defogger relay for your test which also happens to be a 4-prong relay housed in the same box.
Let us know how the test goes.
