Is it possible to activate this. Right now if I put the vehicle into park it only unlocks the drivers door. Almost every time we take the RDX out there is at least 2 people in the vehicle so it would be helpful to at least make the passenger door side unlock as well.

How do I go about doing this?

Hey mau108, there's totally a way to do it. If you have the Tech package (or an '08), you can make the changes through the MID. If you have a base model, it's a bit more complicated. I wish I could tell you straight off the bat how to do it but I don't have the car manual in front of me. It's in there though for sure.

All my friends complained about their doors being locked when I parked so I finally programmed it to have all the doors open in "P" so I could stop their whining. =)

I sat and played with the buttons on the steering wheel when I got mine. The option is in there along with light settings. Not sure but I think you hold the up button on the right side of the steering wheel for a few seconds and then the options show on the dash.

 

What I did to get it to work, is after your done driving, put the vehicle in park, hold down the unlock button until you hear it click 3 times (takes like 10 secs between clicks) then it should work. Mine has worked ever since I did that.

I believe thats for people with base, I have tech package...the manual has the info and it works.

FYI... in the 2007 tech package, this works too, but you hear two clicks, not three. Then all the doors will lock automatically at 10mph or so, and all will unlock in park.

 

I find it easier goin through the mid on the dash.

Hold down the Sel/Reset button on the steering wheel while the car is on and in park and you get into the menu. Scroll through it and you'll see the options.

 

Those are all good ways! Thanks!! but the holding the unlock button didnt work for me. I found going through the settings button on the steering wheel (up, down, select/reset) where the speedometer is. Go to keyless entry, go to driver settings I believe it is, and then change the lock, unlock, headlight and other settings there.

Sorry if it is not written very clear. I would post pictures to assist if you needed them. but I don't have permission yet.
