Unlock all doors on Park

I've been following what the manual says to try to unlock all the doors when shift knob is on park. At Default it only unlocks the driver's side.

Has anyone tried to unlock all doors when set to Park?

The process or steps that I've done based from the manual. (base model not tech)

1. put key on II
2. close the door
3. step on brake
4. set knob away from Park
5. press the unlock button (wait for 2 clicks)
6. wait 5 seconds
7. set knob back to Park
8. put key on 0

But that didn't work out for me.
anyone ?

I don't have an RDX - so I could be way in another ballpark. But - in the TL, those adjustments are made in the... whats the word... where you see your odometer, MPH, and the reminder messages.

You can set the keyless entry behavior, as well as the shift from park behavior. Hopefully this helps. If not, I could be just blowing smoke out my tailpipe by assuming an acura is an acura.

In my RDX Tech, this is one of the setup options on the console display. I don't know if or why the base model is different.

Base model 07 is different than base model 08, 07's didn't have the MID.

1) Make sure shift lever is in park and the doors are closed.
2)Turn the ignition to on (II) position.
3)Push and hold the master door UNLOCK switch (you will immediately hear a click).
4)continue to hold the unlock switch for 5 seconds and you will hear one click DO NOT LET GO, continue to hold down the unlock switch until you hear another click. (thats 3 clicks total 1 at 1st push, 1 after 5 sec and 1 after 10 sec.
5)Release the unlock switch and shut the ignition off.

The most common mistake is to hit the lock button instead of the unlock button.

Not bad for a guy who doesn't even own a RDX.

Just to clarify, the shift lever doesn't need to be shifted away from park?

Yeah,I made sure it wasn't the lock button and definitely the unlock button is what I'm holding or pressing onto.

Black Label's instructions are correct, but one thing is missing. You have have to turn the ignition off within 5 seconds of the third unlock click. If you wait longer than 5 seconds it won't work.

1. make sure car is in park and the doors are closed.
2. turn ignition to ON (II). When you first stick your key in, this is the LOCK (0) position. next position is ACCESSORY(I). next position is ON (II) this is where your fans start blowing. last position is START (III)
3. press and hold unlock. You will hear the immediate unlock, after 5 seconds you will hear second unlock, and after ten seconds you will hear third unlock.
4. within 5 seconds of third unlock, turn the ignition off.

I'm assuming you have a 2007 base model, otherwise, you're really doing it the hard way....

-Yes, that's correct. I have a 2007 base model.
I think I have tried that but I'll give that a shot again. Thanks

On the 08 base you can set it up through the MID.
