Rear suspension rattle/clunk help!
Hey, so iv been noticing a clunk/rattle coming from my 2009 rdx rear suspension, but I can't seem to pin point it! It happens any time I go over a rough road, or hump in the road, and it feels like the steering wanders some, and an alignment was just done after getting new tires put on.. From watching a YouTube video of a guy showing bad sway bar links it sounded similar.. My question, at the bottom should it be at that angle where the bushing is? It doesn't feel loose, and I can't see any oil coming from the struts either! Or anything else I should be looking at?
It has 146xxxkm on it (about 90k miles) I got it with 125000km and in the paperwork from previous work nothing has been done with the suspension (as far as I know) thanks for any help!

Left strut, no oily residue in sight

As long as your end-links aren't bent, you should be decent, but I suggest replacing them when you replace your rear shocks (Moog end-links are relatively cheap on Rockauto and an upgrade over OEM). If you can get way under, try to inspect the sway bar bushings in the rear to see if they have broken down some. The noisiest part of my suspension prior to overhaul (at 155k miles) were the front strut mounts. My car is mostly a highway queen on smooth Phoenix roads, so considering I got to 155, at 90 yours may be showing some decent wear if your roads aren't the smoothest. I ended up getting OEM strut assemblies, OEM rear shocks, front and rear sway bushings and Moog end-links at all 4 corners, and it did wonders for the ride and general NVH.
