Problems with the Driver's memory seat...help?

Three days after I brought my brand new RDX w/ tech package home, I can't get the Driver's position memory seating to work. I programmed it at the dealer and then programmed my second key for my wife when I got home. Now, when I move my seat and then get out and lock and unlock the car it does not re-adjust. My wife's key does not adjust her's either.

I've tried holding down the "set" button on the door to re-program, but to no avail.

Can someone please advise what I should be doing to get it to work?

Thank you in advance

Fixed it!

I looked through those pages to try and fix the problem, but they didn't help.

I ended up getting a little lucky, so here's what to do if the memory is ever unresponsive and the instructions in the manual don't work...

With the key in the "on" position, Press and hold the "1" and "2" buttons on the driver's door. This apparently resets the memory so that you can follow the directions on pg 146 to program the memory seats.

I don't know if the system was just in a funk, or what, but this was the only thing that was able to get it back and working properly...

Has anyone heard of this before?

It looks like my 1 month old 09 RDX Tech has the same problem. I will try to reset the memory tonight when I go home, but have you found out any more information on this? Does it happen often to your vehicle?

I actually had that problem a while ago. I phoned my dealer right away and they told me that it was probably because my keys were not linked to the car. I forgot the instructions that he gave me, but it was some easy steps. Maybe try phoning your dealer.
