Please help me figure out where this part goes?

Hi guys, I need some help. Short story is that my Acura was hit on the drivers side corner. I had it towed to my house, but because the insurance adjuster couldn't open the hood to inspect he made me take the car to a body shop so that they can take it apart and asses damage. I didn't want the shop to work on it, so I cashed out. I was debating whether I want to sell it to someone who wants to repair or keep and repair myself. After looking at how much parts will cost it was pretty cheap to repair so I decided to fix it. The problem I ran into is that the shop took the parts off the vehicle and some of those parts (broken or not) are missing. I went back asking for missing parts, screws clips and battery. All they could find was the battery. It has been pretty hard to put everything back when you weren't the one taking the parts off.

Basically there are three things I can't figure out where they go, or if there are parts that I am missing. The first picture you see may not be part of the car at all, I think its possible that the shop temporarily put it to stop the oil from draining. This line looks brand new. I am not sure though.

I can't figure out what I need to connect to these two. If possible for someone to send me pictures of the same area on their car it would help me.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you worked on cars much? Spend some of the money you got to buy a factory service manual.

#1 no idea, but where are the connectors? Compression nuts?

Follow the alum line in #2 pic back to its origination then understand where it will connect.

The fittings on the back of the rad in #3 can easily defined by looking at pics from an online Acura parts seller. Or your new FSM.

Since you have this part with the part number, I assume you know what it is. Looks like an air conditioner line to me.

Think that attaches to the A/C compressor, but you need to look at an exploded parts diagram. Plenty of online links. Here is my favorite:

This is the transmission cooler return line, from the cooler inside the radiator, back to the transmission. Here are a few pictures that might help:

I mean no offense, but if these are your first questions, you might have some difficulty with this repair. For example, why is the cooler line to the transmission disconnected? was that line damaged? so what? why did the body shop remove it? that should not have been necessary just to estimate the damage, only if expecting to replace it. Is the connection on the trans damaged? is the trans itself damaged? what does your insurance estimate say about this?

Same type of questions concerning the A/C line, assuming that is the A/C line.

Anyway, good luck with your repair, and let us see your progress with more pics.
