this one is a really random one ...

i have a small dog about 12-14 lbs and she likes to sit in the passenger seat looking out the window. since shes a bit small, her 2 front paws lean against the side kind of arm rest looking thing attached to the door. after a few minutes of her leaning on it, i will get a warning in my dashboard thing that someone is leaning against the passenger airbags and it beeps.

do you think i should just ignore that message or should i really get my dog off it. wierd, huh? its just a small dog too ...

i was thinking maybe i need to put some kind of a cushion so there will be less pressure on the airbag compartment? i don't know. anybody else have this problem?

the system is talking about your dog sitting in the seat but she is small so the system is telling you its turning off the airbag.

My nephew is a bit on the light side when hes in the front and i buckle him up, usually when driving the airbag notification would trigger.

do you usually buckle the passenger side seat when the dog is sitting there?

no i don't buckle the seat. she just sits there leaning on the side airbag compartment with her head sticking out feeling the wind lol ... and it would suck that she cant sit there and do that just because this stupid airbag error. if anything i would just move her to the backseat where there is no airbags on the sides i assume, but i dont think the window goes all the way down like the front seat ...
