How do you fix this?

I just noticed the RDX I bought last week has a boo boo in the passenger side front wheel well (I think that's what it is called). The bottom-most screw in the front is ripped, the plastic is broken. See the attached pictures. How should I fix this? Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated!

Eh-um, save your money. If the plastic is not broken, you can just buy a new clip and screw from the dealer.

You can't really do anything without these clips^

The plastic is broken, so that metal clip (and screw that I removed) does not stay on that hole.

I am assuming that the broken part is the liner, not the outer fender. I have the same problem, only worse. In your case, it appears that the OEM metal clip would still hold onto the liner. On my liner the entire area where the clip attaches is broken away.

I was going to buy a new liner, until I saw the OEM price. The aftermarket part price of $25 is very good, but that does not include shipping.

Anyway, I 'fixed' my own liner by screwing the screw through the outer fender into the OEM speed-clip. Then I applied Permatex Clear Silicone Sealer to the back lip of the outer fender, and pressed the liner lip into the sealer. I glued a length of about 2 inches each side of the screw/ clip. This repair holds well enough that to remove the liner requires that I cut the sealer with an X-acto knife.

My repair holds for a year, the length of time between changes of the inline Power Steering Filter which I have installed behind the fender liner. That includes 105 degrees in the summer, and -10 degrees in the winter, rain and snow.

BTW, I checked a couple of parts prices from that web site of DISCOUNT-BODY-PARTS. While the passenger front fender liner price of $25 is great, the price for the front splash-guard (between the front bumper cover and the front frame cross-member) is $86 vs. the OEM price of $50.

It pays to always check that the 'good' aftermarket price is really better than the OEM price.

A quick update. I gave your fix a shot, I figure what have I got to lose. I think this worked pretty well, I used the silicone to seal the two holes and screw it back on, then put more silicone around it and it is holding up after 24 hours. I took a couple of pics (sorry it was getting dark).
