Hey All...Newbie here, Thanx for having me...

1 quick question I couldn't get answered from Acura 1-800 # so I figured I'd ask you fine folks here.

My M.I.L wants to hook us up with some Weather Tech mats & rear liner for our (new to me/us) 2007 RDX tech pkg. We (well Mom does) need to know what "Retention system" does my 07 RDX have? I read "a" thread on Weather tech mats for I believe a fella asking about his 2010 RDX, but didn't find what I was lookin' for in there. So start a new thread I must.

Thanks All!

Forgot to mention the 2 choices of retention device Weather Tech gives...

"Post" or "Twist type"

(obviously I'm not near my RDX or I'd go out & look for myself... I'm overseas on a job assignment & Mom wants to order now for when I'm back around X-mas)

"Retention system" has such a broad meaning. R U talking weather mats only? If so, the Acura OEM are just fine. Have them myself through 3 winters now and still going strong.

Yes.. Retention system for the Mats. What keeps them in place... "Post" or "Twist type". This is the question asked when you choose your style type of mat over at Weather Tech. (drop down menu with these 2 choices)

Thanks for the "tip" on the OEM mats, but my Mother in Law is looking to get us Weather Tech mats! I'm looking for info on what holds them in place in an 07 RDX. Are OEM Mats held in place by a "system" Do you have your OEM mats in an 07 RDX? How bout letting me know what holds them in place??

I have an '08 RDX. The OEM Acura winter mats are held by posts. Works perfectly fine and secure.
