You fail to provide enough information to provide a adequate answer.
My recent experience.
2010 RDX, 2000 Chamberlain Garage Door Opener - HomeLink works great, no issues.
Upgraded to a new 2012 Model Chamberlain - HomeLink would not work. With the new security issues HomeLink will not work unless you call them and order a repeater. Its $7 bucks. Once you get the repeater, follow the instructions and it will work.
If you try doing a search on the internet, there is a ton of info.
Hope this helps.

Try hitting the learn button on the garage door opener itself. It maybe a red button on the back of your garage door. I think it mentions it in your owners manual.

Have you checked out the homelink page on the internet?
http://www.homelink.com/program
They have instructions in different languages, different garage door types, and if your vehicle is in Canada. The website would have the latest info if anything has changed since the printing of the 2009 owner's manual.
The only thing I don't like about homelink is it is always on. Someone can break the glass to your RDX and press the homelink button to open the garage door. I ALWAYS park my car in the garage because of this. Acura should disable Homelink when you remove the key.

^Seems that could/should be done aftermarket, but would it sell to enough buyers to fly? (maybe re-wire power supply to HL?)
We have an '11 RDX and the salesman told us that all the windows would go down at once w/remote.
He was adamant they would, but could not get them to.
Yea, no, they don't.
This is another a/m fix, one that I want. All windows down remotely.
