creaking sound fm door - back or front, not sure. sometimes in seat belt area
hi guys
has anyone encountered random creaking sounds occuring somewhere near the armrests fm driver's side rear door to seat belt area to front driver's side door armrests? cant seem to pinpoint exactly where/what it is. could be door striker? could be loose window connectors? cracked body pillar? any thoughts?
thanks

thanks bighatch. ill check that out, i have printed out the tsb on that. it seems to be closer to the doors based on sound, however. (eg. somewhere midpart of the doors where there's armrests). nonetheless, sound does travel so that might be what's fooling my ear/hearing as to the exact diagnosis.

I have the same "creaky" noise in my 2007. This is after they have done the TSB for the rear seats. It does seem to be in the door behind my left ear. This was tolerable when I was listening to loud music, but I'm now on a "books on tape" phase and it is very noticeable.

thanks ozwaldo, seems like ive further narrowed it down to the front driver door striker (or latch to the striker). i wonder if there's a TSB or a fix on this. will try to tighten the screws and/or grease/lubricate it and see if it goes away.
