alignment issue? or dont bother?

hasnt bugged me till now, but i did notice that sometimes, when travelling on multi-lane hwys/roads, i need to tilt the steering wheel more to compensate on one side relative to another. what do i mean?

if im at the left side of a 3 lane hwy, for example, i have to tilt the steering wheel to the right (using the bottom "spoke" of our rdx steering wheel, say it's tilted to 6:02 or 6:03pm). if on the right side of that same 3 lane hwy (heading in same direction), i tilt to the left (but the bottom spoke is only tilted less, say 5:59 or 5:58pm). is it the crown of the road or an alignment problem? or maybe being too OC/anal about it? {if latter, im putting my flame suit on } what are other tell tale signs of wheel alignmnt problems? do i need to be "wrestling" with the steering wheel to keep it straight for it to be classified as an alignment issue? (i can steer with one finger but still, it may be bec of power steering?)

FWIW, no problem on thread of tires (but only 7k miles travelled so far), no shaking of steering wheel.

thanks

the fact that the "pull" changes from left to right, depending on the lane you are in makes me think you are just reacting to road crown. roads are always made with some crown, to direct rain water in the direction the designers wanted. if it was "alignment" it would more likely consistantly be to one side.

The roads are designed to veer towards the outside lane to prevent head on collisions when drivers fall asleep at the wheel.
