2011 RDX B1235 code
Our 2011 RDX w/tech has displayed the B1235 code and I've found the B1235 to be a climate control issue on the driver's side. My question is what/how should I replace to correct the situation? Is it a feasible DIY and also, how do I clear the code to see if it fixed the issue?

while researching; I came across the sites that told you about the climate control. those websites look like they are for cars in general and not specific to your acura.
a really quick way to check to see if the drivers side mix motor is working is if you can control the a/c and heater. When my drivers side air mix motor died, I could not switch to heat. and I could not switch to defrost. it blew cold air all the time through the drivers side front vents...Sucks in the winter time...as there is no way to bring heat into the drivers side. if you can switch between a/c, heat, and defrost...probably not the culprit. you may be confusing the MID codes as a problem, but if the MID is displaying B1235, it's actually reminding you to change or inspect these items.. B - Replace Engine oil, filter and inspect brakes. 1 - Rotate tires 2 - Check and potentially replace air cleaner element, drive belt, dust filter and pollen. 3 - if equipped change transmission filter and fluid. 5 - Engine coolant is low or needs replacing |

Yep, just maintenance codes - just a little more work to do on this particular service interval. But if you have a trusted shop near you that has reasonable pricing, I think you can get out the door in the $300-400 range. Less if you can knock some of the stuff out yourself.
