07 RDX New Battery...
 

I just replaced the battery in my wife's 07 RDX. This morning she was headed to work and called me freaking out because the radio wouldnt work and the transmission light was on with the P0847 code showing.

I drove the vehicle and did not notice any problems with the tranny (no slipping or banging).

I am pretty sure because I replaced the battery these error messages are coming up. Is there anyway to reset / fix this?

I read the forums about fixing the radio. Sounds like I get the code, unplug the antenna, put the code in, reconnect the antenna....

Any thoughts?

Whenever you have a dead battery or when you change for a new battery (or anytime the radio loses power) the radio will require a code for it to function again. You should have a card with the code on it. The previous owner of my rdx left this card in the manual for me :) All you do is start up your car, turn on the radio and input the code using the radio preset buttons.

If you don't have this card, you will have to call up your acura dealer and get the code from them.
