Windshield washers don't work!

Neither the front or rear windshield washers work on my '07 RDX-Tech (when I try to use either one the wipers are activated, but there isn't any spray).

Thinking the reservoir was probably empty I filled it to the top, but still no spray whatsoever!

Any advice/suggestions would be appreciated.

look for it in the book...the reservoir is truly small. It may not ben an issue for most people but for those who live in areas that snow is not acceptable.

If not a fuse, you may have burnt the pump.

FYI....the wiper control (the arm off the steering wheel) in 07's are defective and may not function properly or at all. It may not be the case of the spray not working but no signal being sent. There is a redesigned part as well as a TSB. get it checked out. I had mine replaced because my wipers worked, except the settings were haywire, would go on, off, never shut off, or just go on etc.

The fluid is frozen at the bottom of the reservoir. Run a couple of pitchers of hot water in and around the reservoir. I work in a shop and I get alot of these when it gets cold out. Some hot water should do the trick.

If his location is correct, I don't think that such thing happens in Southern Cali

Good luck with the fuse thingy ma-bob, or the resevoir. Just sell the RDX and get a new one

You know what goes thru a bugs head when it hits your windsheild, it's bung hole.

this thing just happened to me today- dealer said they filled with "all season" windshield washer when i had it serviced last sept.

however, when i parked outside (it's been 25F here, 5-10F with windchills) and tried to use the washers upon start up, only the motor worked. after 30 mins of hwy driving, tried again and it worked. what could be the cause? lines frozen? dirt stuck on the nozzle? or maybe i shld change to winter washer blend just to be safe?

my suspect: dealer prolly used summer blend, it froze while parked, then melted as i drove in the hwy and engine heat warmed up the fluid rdx. or am i being too harsh on the dealer?

Sometimes you're the windshield, sometimes you're the bug.
