Any chance you can post a pic?
I picked one up at the local Acura dealer but looks like I'm gonna have to screw it into the bottom, black part, of the bumper.

Thanks.

Picked her up a couple of weeks ago.
Big thanks to everyone on here for the valuable info. Must say I spent quite a few hours going through the forum before made the commitment to go with the RDX. Lovin the ride so far.

Gonna start with tinting the fronts and looking for 19s so I can use the current OEMs with winters. Then we'll see what else the wife lets me do to her ride.

Thanks! Unfortunately, I don't have a journal here (the RDX is the wife's car, so I haven't modded it much)... Also, between work and the kid, there's not much time these days (unlike my single Subaru-owning days).

1st Gen Vs 2nd Gen

Looking at the pictures of 1st generation RDX vs the 2nd generation, I feel that the 1st gen looks a lot better and aggressive. The 2nd gen looks almost like an even older version. I'm sure there are a lot of improvements in the interior and mechnicals. Does anyone else also feels this way or its just me / my eyes playing tricks on me ???

2nd Gen has a little bit more updated tech (XM weather, Auto headlights, power passenger seat, Navi looks better, better XM traffic, bluetooth audio, USB audio connection, etc..) and more compliant ride (not as harsh).

I still like the styling of the 07-09 RDX a little better.

Updated picks of RDX after a good wash day:

I actually have the tan interior, but my window tint is so dark I think it might actually be a negative percentage rating.

Agreed that 1st Gen RDX look better and more aggressive than 2nd Gen. However, I bought a 2nd Gen for the more extensive options and lower mileage vehicles to be had.

You can use film or spray

VHT Nite-Shades?

Personally, I would never tint my tails. Having been in two accidents where I got rear ended, I know if I had tinted lights, lawyer would eat me alive, pretty easily.

Yup!

Yup, thats why I want to see a pic with the lights on so I may evaluate the brightness.

Looks badass but obvious safety issue...

Most modern tinted tail lights are pretty bright. At least the ones I see on the road.

However, I know better (from liability perspective) not to do it on my car

I like the color with the black trim. What type of suspension did you use and how is the ride?

I used BC coilovers, and I love it. In my personally opinion they handle much better than the stock suspension, must less bouncy.
