First wax

Just waxed it for the first time after adopting RDX using Meguiar's gold class carnauba wax. I dunno how to post the pic but hopefully it will show up. Wax is meh. I don't think it's as good looking as I thought it would be. I never had a black car but it seems I need different kind of wax to bring a shine to black finish.

After washing/waxing, I am convinced it needs the side steps as I am too short to reach the roof to wash it. Maybe it will work as a side splitter to give me more down force too?

Finally was able to find some time to shoot the RDX.
Pretty much stock, but with wheels (275/40/20 tires on 20x10 ET 42 wheels) and some other small goodies (black fog light surrounds, Burton Snowboard Sticker, 6000k headlight bulbs, LED 6000k license plate lights)

Here's my RDX finally upgraded to 20s from the factory 19s. I love the way it looks but it doesn't drive as well now. They are 20x8.5 niche targas on 255/45 nitto tires.

Bahaha you smarta** Somewhere along 7.5whp? But seriously I am a big snowboard fan, just displaying my passions (from thinking about it, I really need a snowboard rack for the roof rack!)

Thanks, the wheels and tires drive very nicely (for Nexen tires, I am really impressed!)

I really like the meaty tires! Is your speedometer off a bit?

Thanks! It is by about 2-3 mph according to a low tech gps test but I've found a lot of cars are off a bit from the factory anyways so it doesn't bother me. I'm a speeder so that extra 3 mph isn't going to be the reason I get a ticket. The MPG is what's killing me. I was getting around 19-20 avg before now it's 16-17. Starting to think there may be an issue with the car itself,

Greetings All,
Purchased/Fell in Love with my stock 2008 last November. Been slowing doing the mods since. Got may members to thank for their help whilst I was lurking/learning.

well, these are some sexy cars....my new (older) RDX is not modded but still thinks it's adorable. Bought it a week ago. Here it is on our soggy driveway deck at our cabin up north.

Hopefully we will get to that level, especially with all the suggestions in this forum!

Got a record 20" of snow in one shot a couple of weeks ago and the RDX handled it like a champ.

My street had not been plowed and still had no issues - only got dicey when I backed out of my driveway on the street - had to do D-R-D a couple of times.

My birthday gift to myself last year. I've been looking for ideas on customization lately and decided to get in on the action.

I wish Acura would bring this color back. I hate having to see Honda and Acura share many of the same colors now.

laminex headlight film. they precut it to fit your headlights. very easy to install, and comes with thorough instructions, spray bottle and squeegee in the kit

the handles are from a 2007 honda crv lx. they are exactly the same as our chrome ones, but flat black finish. easy to install, just time consuming because the door panels had to come off. have the service manual really helped, too

thanks. i had the grill wrapped . and dipped the front and rear emblems

if you guys know anyone looking for an rdx, mine is up for sale in the black market. price is OBO. i am the second owner and it only has 63 k miles. it has been meticulously maintained by the previous owner, and by me as well. it is tastefully modded, But I am just wanting to get back into a car. thanks for all the kind words

Just going through this tread and ya"ll got really sharp looking rides. So I recently traded my RDX, since I'm still here, here are some last shots before i traded in the car. 09 RDX 51know miles, only modes were DRL led, and HID fogs. I will miss this beauty

My 2011 RDX

Hopefully in the next week I will be finishing up dipping all the grey plastic around the fog lights and licence plate.

I guess the only thing unique to my RDX (haven't seen them installed on any other RDX) are Rally Armor universal mudflaps. Highly recommended!
