... you find the ride too stiff? although modifiying the suspension is at a cost both pricewise and performance wise... but what are some cost effective ways to make the RDX drive a bit smoother? larger tires? better shocks? springs?
...they retooled the suspension a bit for the 08, to more or less address the concerns of an "overly-stiff" noncompliant ride that the 07 had that some people were pissed about. the 07 was perfect, at least IMO. I think they should have left the truck alone.
if i could go back to the way my 07 was id love to. the 08 def takes corners differently, especialy higher speed on/off ramps, body rolls to much on turn in. steering is a little lighter.

yea...i know about the kit, just not sure i wana go thru the trouble of doing it. If Hondata releases a flash that incorporates the CPE intake, then ill prob get the rims and the spring kit to supplement the entire package.
actually.. one thing i forgot to do was check tire pressure.. the RDX is a mere 4days old since i drove it off the dealer lot and it's possible the tires are over inflated.

EDIT:
Just checked the TPMS on the RDX. (note that there is less than 500km on it)
something i should have done way earlier!
here are readings (canadian) ..holy crap! 32psi is about 220kpa.. this would definitely explain the crap ride quality.. numbers are ALLL over the place. Car has been parked for
about 1.5hrs so tires are probably still semi-warm:
252 -------- 260
260 -------- 272

the dealer adjusted it to:
236kpa for front / 238kpa for back (warm)..
as i drove home on the highway, the figures on the tpms did fluctuate a bit per tire but by maybe +2 or so. in any case, it has made a HUGE difference on ride quality.. it is much more smoother.. albeit not a LEXUS or MERC but definitely better than before.. looks like the PDI boyz didn't do their job!

well the pressures will increase as you're driving, particularly if on the highway, because the tires (and thus the air inside) heats up which increases pressure.
Personally, I'd set the fronts a pound or two higher than the rears just because 57% of the vehicle's weight is hanging over those front tires.
Plus, inflating the rears more than the fronts will increase the car's oversteering tendancies. Granted the RDX understeers like a pig, but it's just something to note in case you're not proficient in performance driving.
On another note...those springs. Does anybody know anything about our stock struts? Generally just replacing teh springs with something stiffer gives stock struts more of a workout and thus wears them out more quickly. I'm wondering if there are also replacement performance struts for the RDX.
