Send me a tune?

Can someone send me a tune for a 2011 Acura RDX SH AWD Tech with the ETS intercooler, RV6 Downpipe, and DW800 Injectors? I've contacted Vit but apparently is no longer accepting rdx's to be tuned.

Good evening,

Do you know how much they charge for their tune?

It will run you $300-$450 depending on what extras you’re wanting from Innovative Motorworks. See their site.

Also, check out this link within the forum if you haven’t already seen it by Innovative. They made some serious power with just a custom 3” intake. I wouldn’t expect this much of a gain stock or even with an intake, since this was done in-person on a “dyno” (versus an e-tune). They took the car from 189whp/206wtq to 255whp/317wtq. That’s +66 whp/+111 wtq (peak) overall and a lot of power being picked up across the board after 3000 rpms ! I found this to be awesome from seeing other results across the forum, which I don’t recall being nearly this drastic with just an intake.

Thus, this definitely drew me to them as an e-tuner. I should be getting my FlashPro soon and most likely I’ll use Innovative once I scrounge up the cash in the future.

Hope this helps!

Good evening,

Thanks, for all the amazing information. I greatly appreciate it. I’m waiting on my flashpro, 800cc injectors, 340lph fuel pump, and intake manifold gasket to come in as well. I already have the bypass valve, top mount intercooler, cold air intake, & turbo back exhaust done. I wonder what all those performance modifications will do with their tune too. I might weight until I have my turbo compressor changed...

I should have specified above that the $300-450 is for an e-tune. If you are reasonably close to their shop in Carlisle PA, of course an in-person dyno tune is your best bet but that’s going to run $500+, but will yield the best results. Likewise, the results Innovative got was on an in-person dyno tune, thus via e-tune the results probably aren’t going to be quite as drastic if you we’re comparing the same level of mods.

CSMoney28, are planning to get an e-tune or are you going for the in-person dyno tune? Either way, you should see some very significant results with all the mods you’re planning since they claimed they had only a custom intake (no downpipe or upgraded fuel system). Ideally, you would wait for the turbo wheel upgrade and hold off on installing most of the parts you mentioned until you have it all done and then have it tuned right away as it won’t run right at all until you tune it.

Now that I read your post again it appears you may be referring to the entire assembly...CSMoney, are you upgrading your entire turbo or just a component? If the entire turbo, just curious what are you upgrading to (e.g. what size)?

Good evening,

All my parts are installed on a stock tune with a stock ecu. The upgraded fuel system will allow me to run on a pre loaded tune. I’ll dyno tune it after I get my turbo rebuild with a bigger compressor wheel and custom waste gate.
