my guess is sensor #6 may be your issue.. did you go to autozone and they tell you what sensor is causing it? they do it for free

Went to autozone, no codes. Unsure how they cleared, but it's been at least 800 miles since I saw the code last.

I think whatever dirt/gunk that was causing the issue (possibly during the install of the DP), is now gone. I guess the O2 coding in the HONDATA reflash can't override an O2 in that case?

Regardless, powerwise everything pretty good still, love the 40-85mph pulls. From a dig, it's pretty awesome too. With all the horsing around, I get around 19.1-19.5 mpg. Highway, I get much better...I'm driving to RI this weekend so will update on true highway mileage.

did you get the catless version? its quite possible your o2 sensor is dirty or got dirty

It was the catted version, that's why I was confused.

It's been gone now for awhile.

I got 24-25 mpg on the return from RI to NJ using Mobil 1 93.
I got about 20.5-22mph from NJ to RI using local Exxon 93.

I was impressed with the mileage for sure...

IMO; if you're going to perform an exhaust swap, you shoud've went full DP w/o cat, it's worth more gain to the wheels for turbo vehicles rather than a "high flow" cat.

I once got 27 mpg on my way from MTL to NY.
And my best record was 28 mpg from MTL to OTT.
That time I was full stock!

some people dont like the smell.. plus it helps with the noise alittle.. the +5hp difference between a highflow cat and non cat wouldnt mean much to me in comparison

I'm telling you do the R&D, it ultimately shows that the biggest difference between catless and high flow stems from whether the vehicle is Turbo or N/A: stating that there's significant difference in power to the wheels due to the relief of back pressure caused by the "high flow" cat.
In a nutshell; not worth the price/labor/effort to swap a stock exhaust with a "high flow" cat, UNLESS you have a stock non-turbo vehicle, which in that case it will be worth to swap.
Regardless that doesn't apply to us hence; we belong to an "Turbo RDX forum"

the full down pipe on the rdx with or without the cat added will give you around 20+hp people have measured around 26+hp increase with out the cat so besides doing the flashpro or reflash its the best bang for buck option on this vehicle, also given that its a turbo vehicle there is hardly any back pressure as well.. so with that said most the flow is heading out not back in adding a cat will restrict i am not denying that but its not going to kill so much hp youre going to wish it was catless.. for a person that is a DD and goes to the track on the weekend having the highflow cat added is the perfect option it will give them the hp increase they are looking for plus the non polluted smell as well as a few db quieter for those of us running full exhaust systems or still stock exhaust..

also to add to it if the person was so inclined to be that weekend warrior at the track and really wanted that +few hp, they could purchase the catless part of the downpipe as well separately..

Very well said actually, I agree.
Especially good luck swindling a local mechanic to pass emissions for inspection.
Now that we're deep on this subject, does anybody know where else to possibly find a cheaper DP than RV6?

I have the CP-e intake and I have ETS intercooler thermal gasket downpipe and I have 800 mL injectors and I have the cool bypass mother and I'm running the 800 cc stock tune with no additional tuning right now and it's running flawless there's probably a lot left on the table but for right now I'm happy

yeah that must be WICKED quick...it was night and day for me without the injectors, a more potent tune+injectors...WOAH!

Re: catted vs. cat...I'm a tree hugger, 5 hp and spewing crap into the air isn't worth it for me on a DD.

On the track, which this SUV doesn't have a place for, no cat for sure since i'm only running 15 minute lapping sessions max...

How hard is the injector swap on this car? I haven't done an injector job in 10 years but on my car at the time it was pretty cake. Is everything just hiding under the IC or is there a lot of crap to remove for access to the rail?

Can't wait for my warranty period to end to start trying out these mods. Have never put a modification on a car in my life, but the Hondata reflash sounds like a must, along with the intake. You all talk about intercoolers, injectors, downpipes, etc. If stock is 240 hp, what hp do you get after adding all of these items. My simple math says you get up to 280 hp or more, but no one talks about how quick their 0-60 times are.

no one has posted quarter mile times with all mods done.. someone had numbers around the 270 mark with most mods added.. i am sure with good tuning you could get close to 280 with everything added

OEM Spec numbers are very different from the real life numbers, that you have dynoed on your wheels.
Real life hps are also very dependent on the outside temp and humidity.
Same with 0-60 numbers.
And to complicate this even further, your 0-60 time is also dependable on the weather factor + on what technique do you use. Means either you start with one foot down or you use brake launching with both feet down.

Guess it would be interesting to race a stock RDX against the modified ones to see the difference. Sounds like everyone butt dyno's the mods, so perception is sometimes reality to the beholder. No matter, I will still do Hondata reflash when it is time with no warranty issues to worry about.
