--1/4 tank of high grade preferably 100+ octane (drag strip should have some or speed shop), carry a gas can to get to gas station afterward
--VSA off
--Sportshift only
--I don't advocate this but Torque launch(preload torque converter)
--no sparetire
--no Audio eqiup
--turn off ac/auto climate
--32psi tires (sets off Low TPMS)
--no passengers seat

--You will/may have to wear a helmet.

also
-check fluid levels
-tire life
-brakes working
-never race an engine throwing a code with CEL on. (gimp mode)

^ all good stuff.. i dont think youll break the 14s and where i am if you are above 14s in the quarter you dont need a helmet If by chance you pull a miracle 13.99 and below you need a helmet and driveshaft loop to make sure your driveshaft if fails wont drop on the ground

91 octane is fine, 100 won't help, tires at 40 psi, I wouldn't do a torque brake launch in case it damages something, perhaps just once to compare it to a normal launch to see if it helps, let us know if torque launching helps, I'm curious to know.

Torque launch will help your time for sure. You'll be spooled already.

Where? Whats the elevation like?

As for weight, you could take out the jack, dump most the washer fluid, leave everything that doesn't bolt down (spare well covers, rear deck..all the junk in your consoles) in the pits...maybe even some things that do bolt down if thats your thing..

Very curious in your 1/4mile times Have you had a chance to install your downpipe yet? If so what do you think? Noticed your going to GLD one of my home tracks when I used to drag race.

I'd like to see one make a 13-second pass. I think the turbo is plenty capable, but at the minimum you'll probably need injectors to get the required power.

i dont think the flow of the injectors will be the bottle neck, considering the TL guise that went custom turbo use the RDX injectors.......

to get a faster time, the weight of the vehicle HAS to come down. it simply is too porky.
also, one poster mentioned 100 octane being overkill...ummm, no its not.
i bet the RDX pings on 93 octane.

Doubtful. To take advantage of higher octane fuels, you need to tune for it. Putting in 100 octane would be a waste of money. Its a low compression motor. If no other factory turbo car pings on 93, the rdx certainly won't.

From a few dynos I've seen the stock injectors are maxed out tuned with a full exhaust and intake. They are a bottleneck

Yes, the reason Hondata only adds a couple pounds of boost with their base maps is due to the injectors. Those that swap out to larger ones can get a custom tune and squeeze some more juice from the turbo. Combined with the aforementioned bolt-ons I think you can get some nice power out of the car. I've been eyeballing injectors and the IC but I'm low on cash till my other car sells...someone needs to buy it already.
