Paint looks good. You should change the wheels to a dark metallic grey color. The black on black is a bit too much.

thisaznboi88 11-09-2017 11:41 PM

It’s soooo pretty:)

are you you planning to do any beadwork or camshafts?

theCoffeeFiend 11-10-2017 02:34 AM

Gonna be lit? Your car is going to catch on fire?

rockstar143 11-10-2017 07:16 AM

that title got me to click,
and TB, get back to ramblings, he didn't ask for your aesthetic direction!

thisaznboi88 11-14-2017 09:27 PM

I’m probably going to do light weight wheels later down the line and I’ll most certainly use your input when I get them thank you.

Thank you, I really appreciate the compliment. Right now, I don’t plan on doing camshafts or headwork at all. But who knows down the road if I get board and decide to do it so stay tuned haha.

My car better not catch on fire and I’m sure you know what it actually means haha. If not it means it’s going to be really good and keep reading lol.

Thanks, I’m glad the title is good click bait haha. I didn’t ask for it but everyone’s input is valid. But my young neighbor does call it the batmobile so he’s opinion I trust more haha.

Yeah, zero percent light transmittance is pretty transparent if you ask me. Just kidding, you can’t make my windows darker unless your spray paint them black lol.

Funny, about 8 years ago I had a little neighbor friend too and he used to call my TL the batmobile!
I will say you have a very fun and positive attitude. I look forward to seeing what you have in store.
I was just giving TacoBell a hard time about his opinion.

You've got a nice part list going, I'm looking to do the same. Need to get 1-10 on the "bang for your buck" list knocked out.

Thank you, plenty more modifications to come so stay tuned! I’m really trying to push the envelope on the rdx in every way possible. I’m trying to pave the way like some of the others on this forum. I enjoy your high mileage journey too. It lets us know how far we could really take our rdx.

I left you some trouble shooting advice on your thread. I had to change my battery twice the battery system in the rdx is terrible. Next battery is optima yellow top since I’m finally out of my extended warranty.

used those you will have a nice time getting those in I believe you need to get factory injector o rings as those are wider
not to bad once you get past the o ring issue. I order 800cc dw's and the o rings that came were way to big

Thanks, I appreciate the info. I’ll make sure I have a set of those before I tackle the install.

ljcolomacks 09-22-2018 05:39 PM

I just installed the same DW 800cc injectors. Installation went extremely smooth for me. I've had them installed for a few weeks and they've been running great so far.
The factory wiring clips plugged directly into the new injectors (no need for the adapters). I didn't have any issues with the size of the O rings. I just ensured I put a thin layer of grease on them before installing.
When i pulled the previous injectors, the heads were very dirty. I made sure to clean the injectors holes thoroughly before installing the new ones.

CSmoney28 09-22-2018 07:04 PM

Cool 😎, thanks 🙏🏻 for the information. I really appreciate it. What did you use to clean the injector holes?
