I just sprayed some carb cleaner on a paper towel or cloth. Try not to get any of the debris into the holes.

Update Alert 🚨!

I finally got those stainless steel brake lines installed on my 2009 Acura RDX Crystal Black Pearl Technology Package with the Taupe Perforated Leather Trimmed Seats 🔥!

Pictures to come soon as well as more modifications inside and outside of the vehicle to come 😈!

Installation of the four brake lines was $435 and full flushing of the brake system with new oem fluid was $60 so all together $495. I know it’s a little expensive but I can trust the work and you can never be too safe with your brake lines!

Brake lines can be found here $99 for all four corners!

Front of the brake lines before the installation still fresh in the package!

Back of the brake lines before the installation still fresh in the package!

Response & bump 😄

They’re definitely a braking improvement for sure. The brake pedal feels a lot more firm now. I’d say they’re definelty a well worth it buy. I can definelty stop a little shorter now. The braking totally feels stronger over all.

Discalmer: I also have aftermarket rotors and pads but I do use oem Acura brake fluid. I can post the information on the rotors and pads if you guys want me too. With links and prices just let me know. The pads and rotors are not just for looks either. Even though the cross drilled and slotted rotors I use look bad ass. I also chose a pad that had great grip and fade resistant but was quiet. I have loud brakes it’s not worth it for a street daily driven vehicle.

More photos of the brake lines because I know everyone likes photos straight from the site I got them photo credit:@Heeltoe_Automotive

Worst battery ever, it never don’t ever buy this one. Only lasted a couple of months.

Engine bay, with the painted oem cover, ets intercooler, k&n intake, & some hidden parts as well.

Front of my RDX with the painted grille, emblem, and lower front spoiler.

Talking Updated Modifications Tuesday 9/3/2019

Hey sorry I never ran those number for you, I'll run them now & edit this post:

As of right now before the below modifications I'm running at 310 AWHP & 357 AWTQ

I'm going to update the tune to the 800 cc & 340 lph tune & update you on the new AWHP & AWTQ

Also I'm getting my engine oil changed:

As well as my engine oil filter:

I get these products from my local Auto Zone & found them on the Mobile website.

Next up I will be installing a new high performance fuel pump:

Then at the same time as those I will be installing high performance fuel injectors:

As well as getting a new high performance intake manifold gasket installed:

I got all of these parts from Marcus @ Heel Toe Automotive.

I can provide more photos, links, or information to anyone that asks...if you have any information that may help with the installs of any of these products please let me know...I will make sure to reciprocate in full.

Please like my posts, subscribe, & comment I will do the same for you! (Positive stuff only (no negative vibes!)

You added 70 hp and 93 lb.ft. tq?

Dang! That thing must be rocket!

I like that you're working with the stock setup. It goes to show how much small mods do for this engine!

It feels pretty quick by you get use to it pretty quick. Also it’s heavy so you don’t feel the difference as much as a lighter vehicle.

Stock it was 193 AWHP now I’m at 310 AWHP
Stock it was 218 AWTQ now I’m at 357 AWTQ

I can’t wait to see what the future upgrades yield.

Oh crap. That's the WHP? What's the crank output then? 360HP? 400TQ?

Can you post a 0-60 or 0-100 one day?

The crank output right now is at 357 HP & 399 TQ.

I’m hoping to upgrade my turbo next by changing the turbine to a larger 20 Trim Billet Compressor Wheel & having it clipped then machined for better flow. That should get me another 30 AWHP & 40 AWTQ.

Didn’t even need to use these pig tails on the new 800cc ultra high performance injectors.

The old stock boring injectors & crusty hard rubber o rings. Only 410cc talk about low performance!!!

Old sad fuel pump from the stock RDX & the filthy fuel filter.

Old sad dirty fuel filter & stock RDX fuel pump.

I never got the intake manifold gasket installed from Hondata it wasn’t worth the work for the lower intake air temperature right now.

The only problem with the turbo upgrade is tuning issues. You have to tune it with the Hondata software on a Windows laptop. But for the best results you need to do it on a all wheel drive dyno. It’s hard to find a great tuner that has a awd dyno & is good with the Hondata flash pro.

I hope these brakes are better than stock. LOL The OEM brakes are a joke.

She's looking good! Can't wait for the install pics!

Looks like Scotty Kilmer discovered the RDX and gives it high praise. I thought this was cool.

The two screws on each rotors were seized in place and we had to drill them out. What a pain that was to do not putting those back in again that's some dealership bullshit. I'll post up a picture of old vs new rotors and take installed pictures another day. That video was great and I like it a lot that old mechanic is hilarious and the RDX does hold on pretty good with age. The stock rotors and brakes last long but they are not slotted or drilled so they get hot.
