Insane question within mind-blown!!!

What’s the best mph rolling speed for the RDX to pull the best for a g force push you back in your seat?

No smart answers I know the RDX weighs 5k pounds alright let just have some fun with this!!!

the car makes peak power at 4500RPM.
so whatever gear and whatever RPM sits you right at 4400-4500RPM will have the most g-forces.

so, if 2nd gear at 20-30mph is at 4500RPM...then that will be the best speed to do a roll at.
but i'm guessing because I dont have the car, so....experiment with whatever speed puts you right at 4500 RPM.

Since we have higher revving v6's, anything above 5000RPM's will give us the best pull!

I really like 3rd gear at like 70mph, shift into 4th and hit like 110mph...and I still have two more gears to go!!

2nd gear at like 35-40mph is an okay pull, I just have to shift sooner to get into 3rd...I really like 3rd gear on my V6 6MT as it's a longer pull.Dont have to shift as soon

Oh yeah I would say 3rd pulls the hardest. Yet 2nd is very satisfying as well. Probably because you can rip second without going too fast.

So maybe the answer is whatever speed is 3rd gear at 5000 rpm?

well, the OP has a completely different car with a different power band, with different gearing.

so, OP is gonna have to experiment with whatever gear/speed that puts him right at the power band...his car makes peak power at 4500RPM.
Where as our Naturally Aspirated V6's make peak power at like 6500RPM.

ie; He doesnt have to rev the piss out of the car to get into the power band...
the turbo comes on a lot sooner, however, he would lose top end.
his engine characteristics are more made for stop light to stop light racing, whereas the naturally aspirated vtec engines were made to be freeway monsters.
thus why our third gear and fourth gear pulls are so fun!
I'm betting his sweet spot is in the 20-30mph range..in either first or 2nd gear.

Not only that but we both have 6 speeds. I'm assuming he has a 5 speed. So I think you are right about that speed for him. Unless of course it's a trick question and launching from 0 creates the most g force?

Man, that is hard to figure out with the RDX for put you back in your seat acceleration:
- I think you have to be rolling because of turbo lag
- Conditions are right with temp/traction
- In Sport Shift mode for the lowest gear
- Turbo spooled up for max boost
- AND, you need a reflash from Hondata
- Bonus "G" force if you have go fast parts like ETS Intercooler, heatsheild gasket, down-pipe, injectors, i-Vtec sticker, etc....

Weakest point is the 5AT and getting the mph+gearing wrong and bogging down the engine during hard acceleration.

Link wouldn't load ... thanks for commenting !!! Except for the one person you can use the door get out of the thread if you're not going contribute. I use a parkway entrance ramp the other day one of those really tight loops and nailed it on the way out to merge with traffic was probably going 20 mph. I felt like I almost got whip lash must have caught the gearing just right without even trying.

The link is to the 1st gen RDX page at AutomobileCatalog.com. It has HP and torque graphs and some other information.
