Your link didn't work, bro. I've had that happen to me before trying to link while posting here. Let's see if mine works this go-round.

Yeah looks like the same deal. It's right up to "tech". The next portion should read "powerpages". Leave the rest as is and you will see a link from that page to the RDX.
Let's see if that works. The article is well written and does have some #'s like cwepruk said.

great article and i think it proves the simplistic nature of getting alot out of the RDX for little money. Still think that overall, the Hondata reflash is a must have and the best mod u can do for this thing, everything else is miniscule to what the reflash does to the vehicle.
I think the best approach is reflash, then focus on improving handling characterstics upgrading brake pads, eibach, after that, not sure if its needed. A grand for a catback that doesnt really do much or sound any different doesnt, at least to me, make much sense at all unless ur really doing some modding under the hood...could do an intake, but after the hondata, why bother with the $$ and the install.
About their comparison CX-9/Santa Fe uhhh what? lol

After this article, I ordered the K&N I am going to order the Hondata soon as well - but it's a lot more money with the spare ECU.
I am trying to find some clean looking, low priced 18's with a lower offset than stock too. The 20" packages just seem to pricey for me with shipping to Canada and new TPMS sensors.

Any know why they shifted at 6500 rpms? If Hondata increased redline to 7500, why shift at 6500? It seems like power decreases significantly the closer to 6500 rpms, but Hondata had to increase red line for a reason.
Also, I would love to see what the RDX would dyno at a proper AWD dyno. And the 99.6 degree temp on the final dyno robs a ton of power from a turbo. I though I heard the RDX horsepower and torque #'s form the factory are a tad conservative.

This reflash looks great a is a big selling point of the vehicle to me. Many magazines put down the choice of a turbo-4 vs an NA v6, but they don't rate potential. Last two cars were both turbo and the reflash was the best performance upgrade you could buy. It would be nice if the RDX could be reflashed without removing the ECU and mailing it in, but what can you do?

I, of course, feel that the intake and reflash are the best 1st and 2nd mods for the rdx. the exhaust is getting poorly represented on this test because they did NOT remove the cats for the test pipe that was included with the exhaust. of course now people are waiting on the downpipe to get replaced, because those who have done a custom replacement are seeing great numbers

I agree. Go with the Hondata ECU first, then see if you need to spend the extra cheese on the exhaust end. I originally went into the dealership to buy an MDX. I saw the RDX and asked for the keys, test drove it and forgot all about the MDX! No mechanical problems whatsoever for close to 100,000 miles! You will never hear an Audi driver make that claim. Now only if the SHAWD was permanant and the RDX was 300 lbs. lighter.
