how many miles with hondata

just traded in my TL for an 08 non tech and have been thinking about the hondata flash. How many miles do you guys with the flash have on your ride and how many of those miles have been with the flash? Has anyone had any issues over time?

Purchased a used 08 RDX Tech with 29,000 miles in 2010. Added Hondata Reflash April/2010 when they dropped the price from $599 to $295. I now have 105,000 miles (+75,000 miles with Hondata) and no problems with drive train, emissions, transmission, or sh-awd. Hondata bump my combined mpgs from 17-18 mpg combined to 19-20 combined over the same commuter route. I've had the RDX in the mountains in Colorado and the RDX really kicked some A$$ on I-70 at Eisenhower pass at 11,000 feet. I had the RDX in southern California and I felt the boost in power from the sea level air.

I added the ETS intercooler last year and it works very well with Hondata. I even got a bump up in combined mpgs to 20.5-21.2 mpg combined. I love the Hondata+ETS intercooler+K/N drop-in filter combo for my RDX.

what is your exact question?
you can look for hondata users to tell their experience all day....but you are looking for an exact answer to your exact question...
what is it?

reliability?
i think mr.golds answered that.

I'm wanting to know how many miles people have put on their vehicles with the flash. I just mentioned the water because mrgold shared the benifits he got from the IC and happen to be doing it to my duramax

1000 miles and 2 Check engine light because of an O2 issue...I think my O2 is dying though, because Hondata should've taken care of it.

Because when your poorly designed E92 breaks down from HPFP failure or a number of other admitted design flaws, you will need a dependable vehicle such as an RDX to take you to work

Lol, I have a F30, so no HPFP issues, just driving bliss! But i agree, RDX has been more reliable than the 335i out the gate....I had a lot of new body style squeaks and rust issues that BMW eventually took care of.

Hondata would've taken care of the second o2 sensor problem if you purchased the flashpro

I talked to my local service and they said O2 sensors on the rdx almost never go out.

hmm.. it all depends on the work NEVER.. my guess is you have a dirty o2 sensor.. did you confirm what sensor it is? when the check engine light comes on you should take it to find out what code and sensor it is to confirm

Flashpro is the flash that overrides the ECU from Hondata, correct? Then yes, that's why I'm confused.

Flashpro is tuning software that lets you set up your car however you want, including access to various DTC codes (such as O2). Not sure how the disabling of the codes works on these cars, but on some such as older Chevy LS engines you can tell the computer to report the O2 as functioning no matter what (don't recall the exact wording). On others you might be able to tell it not to report at all, but in those cases you will always be in a state of "not ready" if an emissions station reads your car via the OBD2 port, and you probably won't pass. However, you'll also never see an engine light for the O2.

The basic Hondata reflash is simply that - a canned tune that doesn't change how your car reports emissions and other codes. Just gives you bigger smiles from behind the wheel for minimal investment.

So the reflash won't handle O2 issues?

I wonder if that's my issue, or if it's rather a dirty O2 from the DP install.

I'm betting the latter. The regular reflash has nothing to do with your O2. It's also possible that your O2 is fine and just doing its job considering you do have a DP installed. Have you pulled the actual codes yet?
