Good luck with the install vividsi. Let us know how all of the bolt holes line up and how it runs.

The TMIC sits perfectly with the rear mounts and it fits pretty tight once the gaskets are all the way on. I'm going to wait to see what others come up with first before messing with the front mount.

Just received my shipping notice. Since mine was Anodized Gold with Blue Stencil the casts did not take well. ETS let me know they were not satisfied and did Gold Powder Coating on tanks and anodized the rest.

Thumbs Up for Customer Service!!

Hopefully I will have time to install and post pics up on here and their FB page!!

Going on vacation to Florida for the month!!

So just as I am about to do this install, the link via hondawhores.com is not working.

Always nice to have a Install Guide, lol

Will do!! Almost done, rear driver's mounting bolt and the front one are way off!!

Considering to utilize my drill open up the front tab 1/4".

Also flipped around the rear hose clamps for easier access from the passenger side.

cut your shroud huh? Hmmm..

Well, that honeycomb really isn't big enough to prevent anything other than a bird. hahaha

Tanks were powdercoated right? gold too?

The front mount took my drill and opened it up about 1/4" now is useful. Gold anodizing looks better in person. Cut away the honeycomb show off that blue ETS logo, LOL. I do not forsee bird induction, LOL.

Thanks for the compliments!! Felt a difference already. Installed P2R gasket as well. El Paso heat with OEM to ETS noticed nice jump. Makes my CP-E louder too haha!

I've been putting this off, I'd like to do the following all at the same time but I'm tapped out and I probably need to find a way to do all this myself.

Denso spark plugs
Clean fuel injectors
Hondata IM gasket
ETS IC

Congrats on the install vivid. How'd the front mount go for you? Did you do the plugs and injectors at the same time or just the TMIC?

If you think the TMIC is making it fast-wait until you get the down and mid pipe.

yes, we did it all, and I'm not sure about the downpipe anymore as I want to be inline with emissions and I dont want any codes.

Hey Vividsi, what part number did you use for the Hondata IM gasket? I did not see a gasket for the RDX on the website. I haven't installed my intercooler yet. I totally forgot about the gasket until your post.

I might even to the spark plugs also on the RDX because I have 93,000 miles already. I just did the 100,000 mile spark plug/valve adjustment on my TSX and I did not realize how much HP I was missing. My butt dyno feels the TSX power is up 5-8 hp (back to the factory 205hp) and the mpgs are up by 1 mpg combined.

yes, the spark plugs will help even if you were at 70 like me. The hondata gasket is actually the same as the RSX-S and Civic Si (EP3), With my Si when it got hot the power seemed to take a dive but with the gasket it retains the power and doesnt feel out of breath after the engine gets hot.

My ETS intercooler intercooler arrived this week and I finally got around to installing it. Big thanks to CR X sir T for letting me copy his blue on gold design. Can really feel a difference in the turbo response time and acceleration. I wasn't expecting tm that much since it was only a 14 hp gain. Just waiting on the Flashpro and the downpipe build now.

Heads up on the intercooler shroud. It's important to have the intercooler grill/shroud as it acts as a guide or cap for the duct coming in under the hood. You'll notice there are little rubber seals that mate to the surface of the plastic intercooler grill. I never noticed this before but when I took the RDX down for the FlashPro Hondata pointed that out.

Basically without it, cool fresh air has the potential to blow around the intercooler instead of through it.

Yea I noticed that also when I was modding the intake, I decided not to mess with the IC cover at all.

I put the stock shroud back on mine after install. I haven't noticed a problem with the BOV bolt wearing from the rubbing, but it is indeed touching under there. The TMIC has been mounted for about 3 weeks now and it feels like it pulls a bit smoother and stronger throughout the rev range, but thats only by the SotP dyne. It is noticeable, but not in the same class as the reflash did. Overall, recommended by an average garage wrench and geezer who still likes the go pedal.

After doing this mod on my EP3, all it did was screw up my Idle after not driving it for a little bit. Not sure if the RDX has the same IACV though

It only seems to get stuck after letting it sit for a while ~ 2-3 months. So hot Down in FL tried to get Temps down as much as possible.. That hot fluid keeps dirt/ grime from sticking

It makes a difference but its very subtle. The cars acceleration becomes " smoother" I would suggest making your own grounding kit instead of buying one. The only reason I have the buddyclub its because I got a really good deal on it otherwise I wouldn't have bought it.

I can't believe i read about vtec kicking in harder because this tmic was installed. Rdx's don't have the real vtec like the type s or newer si's with 3 lobe cams.
