i dont have my RDX anymore but i did have a set of 3500Ks HIDs installed in my TL Type-S fogs. here are a few pics.
as you can see from the pictures from a straight on view there is hardly no yellow at all. in fact it looks like stock HIDs (4000K-4500K). but the light on the ground is really yellow. and more usable than regular hallogens. but it does blind on coming traffic to an extent. i chaged it out because i wanted a more yellow look from the straight on view.

I can't believe it, I just cannot believe it, he got her...!!
Oops, sorry, over-typed, those last three words are from a 1977 movie script.
Be that as it may, why become a "ricer" just because you own a Japanese origin "turbo" vehicle. Why are you trying to "impress" oncoming drivers, 99.9999% of whom you will NEVER meet, know...??
On the other hand should I encounter you at night with those BLINDING fogs then we will very likely soon "meet", me with a hammer to extinguish your "fogs" forever.
You, the driver, have no benefit from HID fog lamps whatsoever, to the detriment of EVERY oncoming driver you "encounter."
SAD....

"the driver does benefit from HID fogs a lot..."
No, any type of fog lights, when used along with low beams, are actually a DETRIMENT to a driver's forward distance vision at night.
Fog light reflector beam patterns are intentionally designed to have low and wide, "close-in" light coverage, and often with an amber tint. If you look at the light coverage with fogs and low beams both on you will note that the fog light coverage is a "fill-in" between the front of the vehicle and somewhat into the closer portion of the low beam coverage.
Unless you're driving at low speeds cognizant with the need to use fog lights alone then the close in BRIGHTNESS of your fog lights will actually cause your eye's iris to close up slightly and thereby reduce your night distance vision.
Eliminate the amber tint, or use higher wattage bulbs or HIDs to make the fog light pattern even brighter, CLOSE-IN fog light pattern, and your eyes will "compensate" by closing up to light even more.
In my opinion it should be illegal to have fog lights and low beams on simultaneously. Fog lights can definitely be of help in actual conditions of need but with low beams also on the effects are definitely negative, with and without foggy conditions.

stock oem hid w/ hoen xenon match
to me hoen kinda matches with oem hid in certain angle. but not what im looking for.. but if anyone would prefer nice blend then go with hoen (www.hoen-usa.com) or mtec super white (http://stores.ebay.com/mtecpower_MTE...QQftidZ2QQtZkm) to me that be the closest you could get with Halogen bulbs.
there both around $25, when you buy hoen make sure you send them before and after pic they will give you $5 return

So finally I got a chance to take pics of my HIDs.
The pictures make the 6000k hids very blue, but in person it's much more white.
Comparing the 6000k v 3000k, I'd much prefer the 6000k because it looks more VIP (for a lack of word) and it goes well with OEM 4300k hids.
I'm debating whether or not to change my OEM's to 6000k to match my fogs.
here's what I had before my 6000k hids fogs
These are 3000k yellow hids. they're not the halogen bulbs. I bought them from xtralights.com and it came with ballasts and hid bulbs as well. Unfortunately they went out about 2 months ago... Ugh.. I bought them from xtralights.com becuz I bought 8000k hids for my previous car and didn't have a problem with them for over two years. Ah well... guess I was unlucky and got a lemon.
Anyways.. the yellow hids that I had looked exactly like DN's TL-s
Hope this helped!

I'm still debating on whether or not to change my oem's low beams to 6000k as well.
Main reason:
oem hids work best in rainy weather compared to the other options (6000k +). (I had 8000k on my previous car and whenever it rained you could barely see the floor)
oem hids project light further down the road compared to aftermarket
oem hids appear "dark purple" to on goers in very dark areas.
If I do decide to get the 6000k for my low beams, I'll make sure to post it up here!
Baek-Su- Post up your pics when you get your 6000k!

He who laughs, last didnt
my little bro has mazdaspeed 6 and has 6000k in his lowbeam and fog 6000k.
i test drove it yesterday, and it was pouring. from what i seen it wasnt that noticeable from 4300k. only thing i notice it was more white w/ little hint of blue and i was able to see the road very well still.. but idk, all the hid band out there gives different light output. i heard kaixen gives nice light output and its worth the money.. so we have to see.

not an SUV ...a Big Hatch
I'd personally LOVE to switch my Fog's and Hi-beams (which are used for DRL's) to HID's on my '07...
...maybe i didn't read deep enough, but what brands/sites are you guys using to source your HID's?
