Hello,

I have a 2009 rdx and in loving it. The turbo sounds so nice. The bypass valve sound is also nice and was wondering if anyone ever changed it to a blowoff valve for that sexy sound

You may also consider getting an intake as that will make a lot more sound, even the stock bypass valve. Or be nuts and do both, but I think the intake is easier to tune for.

I'll look into the intake route.

Hopefully someone did up a DYI.

I'd recommend the intake route as well. Running an atmospheric BOV on an otherwise mostly stock turbo car can make it run pretty rough. You can kind of get away with it if it's a 50/50 atm to recirc but man I ran a TurboXS 100% atmospheric on my old WRX and it was crazy loud but the car did not like it at all.

this has already been talked about moons ago.. you have to have pretty much full recirc otherwise youll start throwing cells and the rdx will run like poop.. best way to get more sound is to change out the intake for after market
