Be sure to mention you are from "Acurazine", this way they will pick up the extra shipping cost. As mentioned production has started and they are looking at begining of April to ship out your suspension.

I live in California and got mine in two days!

Once they have taken care of your (Acurazine) orders, then they will put it on their regular rotation to be broght in via container/ship. Due to the timing of "filling up" of a container, etc. this type of shipping will take 2-3 months.

If you are interested please be sure to call them and place your order directly with BC Racing at the number listed above.

I would be more than happy to answer any questions in regards to installation, performance, or whatever else you need to know about these coilovers.

Please note, I have no interest in, or in anyway am associated with BC Racing. They just happen to be nice enough to build our beloved RDX some coilovers.

Cheers.
have you gotten your wheels tires mounted yet?

I still have not received my Falken FK452 tires yet. It has been busy as of late...

The suspension is working just fine. No complaints, no surprises, in fact for the most part the car feels "stock".

Once on the back roads then you get a smile on your face.

It is also so much easier to get in and out of the car. I'm five foot 10 inch tall and the couple of inch drop made all the difference in the world.

Still highly recommend this mod.

Anyone else get one of these?

I think they're ready. I e-mailed sales@bcracing-na.com and Kerry replied saying they cost $1050 shipped.

I set up my front with 1 degree negative chamber, stock is 1/2. There are smaller bolts available to get the front chamber back to stock levels if you wish.

The rear is NOT adjustable. I have 2.5 degrees negative chamber, and stock is 1.5 max. I have been studying the suspension and think I can "slot" the suspension tabs for the upper arm so I can move it out and correct the rear chamber.

I will keep you all posted and take pics of this modification.

Cant wait to see the 19's mounted. Right now I feel that at stock height 20's are mandatory but lowered 19's could be a better choice.

Is the camber out of spec no matter what with these coilovers? Are they dampening adjustable? Not looking to slam the rdx. Any issues with the AWD system after drop?

I have BC racing coilovers on my is250 Awd and they are great quality. The brand is popular on club Lexus and the Subaru crowd. This would be for my gfs 07 rdx as a replacement of the 1G harsh suspension. Looking forward to dampening adjustable if these are.

Zerogravity,

No issues with 20, there is a ton of room. Remember I spaced out each side by 25 mm. You can drop by 2 in front and 1.5 in back and then some. I just lowered the front another 6 turns!

pdpgps, toe is adjustable front and rear, camber in front is just fine. Camber in back is 1 degree out of spec, just my experience. No issues with the SH-AWD, all is fine. Yes, they are adjustable front and rear for dampening and rebound (all in one).

Of course you can, they are going to be in regular production.

Finally got my tires, got them mounted and on the car. The ride is a bit harsher with the 19s, but love the grip of the Falkens.

No clearance issues.

What do you guys think of the new wheels?

zerogravity, let me know if BC does not contact you back in the next 48 hours. Good luck.

Just an update on the performance of these coilovers:

I put on some 19 inch wheels with Falken FK452, size 255/40/19.

I on purpose chose the smaller diameter tires to gain a bit on accelaration and weight on the tires.

The car handles like it is on RAILS. I'm very happy with this set up. When pushed hard, you start to wish for even stiffer springs!!! Hehe...I would not want to go any stiffer, as you would lose a lot of comfort for normal driving. I am going to look into making a larger rear sway bar. Just wondering how many people would be interested in this sway bar? If I get enough interest maybe I can talk Hotchkis to make us one.

The smaller tires also allowed me to lower the front end another 6 turns compared to the original set up from BC.

If anyone else got these BC coilovers please post your experience.

Cheers.

Anyone buying these coilovers have Eibach springs currently? If so, I'm interested in purchasing your old Eibach springs when you swap everything over. I'll probably end up getting this kit if I can't find springs, but I'd prefer the 1 inch drop that the springs give.

mstolars, if it is not a financial issue I highly recommend getting the BCs. It really transformed the SUV to a proper sports-wagon.

Beyond ride height it is adjustable for rebound and dampening as well. If springs are around $300, and the BC coilovers around $1000, my personal opinion is the delta of $700 is a total bargain.

If your RDX has more than 50k miles, the shocks are not going to be all that fresh. These coilovers will obviously get you new shocks as well.

Parking in San Francisco...

Love the rear view camera, it is perfect for parking in SF.

New construction going on in the backround.

If we can get to 300HP to the wheels, thicker swaybars, and a BBK for the front...the RDX would be perfect (for me)...hehe...

Hang in there, that is the down side to a successful company...the wait.

It is WELL WORTH IT.

Once you have it, and it is installed, you'll not even remember you waited so long. Check out the begining of this tread...it has been some time...it went by like a flash.

I even read on another thread that another company was going to develope these for the RDX, and it never happened.

Since we have such a small community of enthusiasts for the RDX, I think it is really important to circle the wagons and whenever financially possibly support the venders that are willing to develope higher performance parts for our beloved RDX.

Thank you again BC for doing this.

BTW, there is another thread about alum pullies, please sign on if you can. You will love that upgrade as well.

I'm surprised I haven't gotten a ticket...on ramps and off ramps are serious fun now.

This thing is on rails. I HAVE to create some sway bars, and buy a BBK.

It handles so well that it can be taken to the track. It is truely a track worthy car now.

As you guys get your kits, go back and read my write up. It should help you (if you are intalling it yourself). Very straight forward, no surprises at all. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Funny you mentioned about the funds... They haven't charged mines yet???? I hope they didn't mess my order and it ends up delaying stuff! I tried calling this number (407-960-5908) which is the # they called me from, but no one answers. Getting worried now Cuz I gave them my card info...

1 Very Happy RDXer
My BC Racing coilover finally arrived after months of battling with UPS Claim Department. UPS managed to lost my RDX coilover in transportation in March 2012.

Big to Kerry from BC Racing.
He was well communicated with me & worked along during our UPS Claiming Process. After our claim concluded, BC Racing shipped a 2nd set of coilover to me by Air

I have absolutely zero complaint.
Excellent Customer Service.

I will be install my coilover this weekend
