ATLP Exhaust Sys!

Just got off the phone with Mike at AcuraTLParts and he said that they are gathering names for people interested in their CAT back exhaust system. They had discontinued production on it but it seems that people have been calling in about it, thus the FINAL production run should start some time in the future.

Down Pipe; Apparently they did have a prototype made of this but the chap that was developing it left the company and the proto part with him!
However Mike says that if ATLP can get a list of at least ten(10) names then they will make the downpipe on a partial deposit basis.

You can contact Mike at 818 746 6997 or mike@acuratlparts.com

Contact him and put in your request.

Mike Email me Today.
We are actually gathering interest for another batch. This is a discontinued item, but because of the interest in the last 2 weeks, we can offer this, probably, for one last final run.

If you are interested in an exhaust for the RDX, this would probably be the time. All we are requiring at the moment is the deposit of $200, and the remainder of the balance will be due when we are mid-production. I estimate that time being 1-2 months, which is just based on the remainder of people interested in an exhaust.

I've also attached the graphs. Please note that it's not only increased as far as peak power, but also has a consistent increase mid-range and starting low-end as well. It will give it more "pep" all around driving, especially driving around town.

Let me know if you are interested and I can e-mail you a Google checkout link for the deposit.

Thanks,

Michael Yu

I'm going to put $200.00 deposit.

He said that they will require 10 names to do a production run! The guy that was working on it (downpipe) left the company and took the prototype that he had made with him.

im dissapointed too, but i'm actually quite impressed with the customized atlp exhaust Mike did for me, it sounds way better, the tone is nice and deep in compararisant to the original one I had before. A+ job, it actually sounds pretty loud when you drive 4000rpm and up and when the turbo kicks in the intake with exhaust sounds very very aggressive :P

Christmas! This is what I told my wife and she was cool with it. Not to mention I bought her a $1,300 Yorky puppy last October and an eastern Caribean cruise for Christmas...so this year she can budge some Do the deposit! Mike at ATLP is VERY helpful, cool & honest...not just trying to make sales but trying to provide the best product for your car & needs.

Downpipe we don't have at the moment. The cat-back exhaust is a nice, sporty upgrade from stock. The stock exhaust, if you haven't noticed (I don't blame you), is eerily quiet. With the exhaust, it gives it an added tone and characteristic that is definitely noticeable when outside, but still retains a very, very close to stock noise level inside. It's very quiet inside, I think the few clients we had that have this exhaust from the first run, can agree on that.

The pricing for the exhaust system is actually $925, not $950.

Happy holidays!

whats the size of the downpipe before connecting to the cats? im sure adding an electronic cutout will free up massive hp by completely bypassing the exhaust only when needed

I believe it went smaller than 2" at some points, as it was a varying ID size. Exhaust cutout's are cool, but I also think their kinda tacky and un-classy. Something I wouldn't mind putting on my track car, but on my daily, I'll pass.

The size of the downpipe (stock) is around 2". It houses the primary cat.
You cant use the cutout without throwing a check light on this vehicle.
Do a search on deleting the cats all info has been covered plenty!
