Would you consider a discount for local pickup? I'm down in Stamford CT and may be able to drive up for a day if you guys are willing to do the install as well.

Sure, what I can do is take off some money since I don't have to ship it so I can cover the CT sales tax to make it about the same price. We would charge $75 for installation.

Heh. For $0 I can see if all that time spent as a kid playing with Legos will pay off in the form of a basic automotive knowledge.

Got mine yesterday and installed it yesterday as well. Early impressions are better pull on top end, turbo spools faster and intake sound is great. Sound is most noticeable between 2000 and 5000 RPM’s seem to get a bit quieter from there to red line. Install took about 90 minutes, could have been faster with some tools I didn’t have handy. I didn’t realize how much area under the hood the stock air box too up until it was all out and sitting on the garage floor.

What kind of performance gain can be expected by this? Better power curve, or a slight smudge in the butt dyno? Any testimonials as to whether this product has been truly dyno-tested and tuned to the RDX?

There are a lot of testimonials on this forum commenting about the increase in hp and throttle response. I don't believe there are any independent dynos.

Ok, thanks for the info, that is what I was looking for. I may be interested when I can actually see that I'm going to pay $250 for something thats going to get more than 5hp ya know

Please.. let me know when a dyno for this product is going to happen.

Ahh!!! Thank you, thank you! Very nice numbers! Now do you know if that was a baseline RDX with NOTHING else on it? Or was the test mule already fitted with a couple other goodies.. intake/exhaust/hondata etc...?

$250 for roughly 20+ hp/tq is well worth it if that is the case

It was dynoed stock and then with the CP-E intake.

That's a vendor-supplied dyno. Take a look at the dyno that Hondata provided showing the difference between the reflash and the reflash with this intake. That's a more reasonable expectation of the power you'll get.

Bottom line, is that you buy an intake if you like the noise it makes. From what I understand, a lot of people who buy it, like it.
