Sea Foam. Where is the vacuum line?
Anyone here ever tried Sea Foam? I've used for over 10 years in all my cars, import and domestic, and it works wonders.
I've always poured it down the intake manifold or through the brake booster (vacuum line) to have the engine suck it into the cylinders.
Darn thing is I have never used it on a turbo motor. The intake system is different.
Does anyone know where the proper vacuum line is located to administer the Sea Foam?

AWESOME! Thank you so much. I pulled out that line and there was a definite vacuum. I proceeded with the Sea Foam and viola... much better throttle response. The torque kicks in at lower RPMs. Turbo boost has better response on the freeway.
I also noticed that on the left side of that intake manifold is another smaller hose. It is also a vacuum line. I think it is the PCV hose.
Anyone know if I can use this line as well? Just wondering.

Yep, that's the PCV hose. It should work as well, though the brake booster hose is probably a better choice. With the engine idling the PCV valve is normally open, venting the crankcase. It's a small issue, but if you are feeding SeaFoam through the PCV inlet, then there is no crackcase venting.

Never heard of Seafoam so I Googled it and have just one question. How does the cat handle all the crap coming out the engine?

Seafoam shoots out the mufflers. After you get it into the system, you're supposed to hop on the highway and floor it and it all comes out. I did this with my V6 Accord awhile back and getting out of the neighborhood was interesting to say the least.

This is an old post but I was trying to run seafoam through the vacuum line but couldn't get it to work. As soon as I pull off the vacuum line the engine abruptly stalls out. As soon as I reconnect the vacuum line and turn the key the car starts right back up just fine. Any ideas on alternatives for giving my engine a good seafoam cleanse?

WTF?
turn on vehicle, remove top white circle from BOV. while idling slow allow the hose sip from the seafoam canister DONT DUMP IT let it sip it.. if the idle drops too much it will stall allow it to sip out about half the bottle.. turn off, let it sit for 5-10 min plug hose back in. turn on vehicle put a brick on the peddle to let it rev at around 3.5k rpm after white smoke is minimal or gone you can either take it for a nice drive around the block to make sure its all cleared out or just turn it off.. with the other half of the bottle put it in the gas tank (full tank of gas) and you are done
