I have a 2009 honda pilot ex with 108K miles. Recently when I am sitting idling, i heard a loud buzzing noise and a plume of white smoke. I quickly shut off my vehicle and turn it back on and hear the noise again. I shut it off again and turn it back on and drive home. The next morning my car would not start. It just rapidly clicked and my dash flickered. I had it jumped and did not experience any issues. I then went to start my car the next day and it was completely dead. Bought a new battery and everything seemed to be working fine. 2 weeks later, and I had my car sitting in the driveway running and again, the buzzing noise and smoke came from under the hood. I shut off the vehicle and started it back up and drove home. The next morning my car would not start and it had the rapid clicking noise and flashing dash. Does anyone know what could be draining my battery and what the buzzing noise and smoke is from? I am hoping it is something simple. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

i would be looking under the hood for something that is causing a short.
sounds like you're driving along normally, and for some odd reason, something happens (like a short) and you get a little white smoke.
I would be looking for something metal that would be touching battery terminals, or see if wires are all nice and taped up...no copper showing

Sounds like the starter solenoid is dead. replace the starter
