Nav Traffic

Is anyones XM Nav Traffic not working correctly. Mine showed everything the night that I bought it, but nothing changed yesterday or today. Is there a delay or something?

I'n the Chicago area it seems as close to real-time as you can get. I've seen it update within 5 minutes of a traffic accident.

Mine has not worked for the last 3 weeks in the Denver area. XM does not seem able to fix it despite 2 resets and a stop-restart procedure. There are other threads on this topic. My next step is to have the dealer look at it during the oil change visit.
Do make sure your icons are set to display correctly, and the scale is set to the traffic zone. See the manual for details on this.

Mine worked fine here in the metropolitan NYC area. It was great for the free trial period; but is it worth/neccessary for the high price tag? I decided no. I just wish it was a little cheaper I prorbably would've subscribed...

I'm with you, the price for RT-traffic far exceeds its utility. I got rid of XM after the trail. I only listen to news and sports and I thought the sound qulity was worst than AM radio. Also, there was only redneck sports.

might have to get the signal reset, and jumpman should have been set up by your dealer, you get a free 3 mo trial last time i checked. If yur xm radio works, and traffic does not, call xm and have them resend the signal.

My nav traffic has not been working for a few weeks now and it seems like it might be linked to the timing of my free trial ending and the new subscription beginning. I have been on the phone with XM way too many times and have tried to refresh it three times, deactivate and reactivate twice and nothing seems to be working. My audio channels are fine and I can get traffic accident information when I press down to get the map menu, but there are no traffic icons on the map and no traffic flow information.

After my last call to XM (probably the 6th or 7th time) and tons of frustration from me, the woman told me that since it's factory installed I need to talk to Acura. I just don't understand why it's a problem with the car if it worked perfectly fine during my trial and now will not function. I'm in the LA area, by the way. My first inclination is to just cancel it completely because I don't really feel like it's worth the extra bucks per month, but in LA it can sometimes be really helpful since freeways are always so jammed here. Anyone have any thoughts or advice? Thanks.

similar problems in Denver area

I have just about given up on XM nav traffic. Mine worked fine for about a month, went away for a week, came back for two weeks, and then disappeared. 4 calls to XM resulted in 3 refresh signals, and one stop-restart. None of this fixed the problem, I still get a "no traffic data within 30 miles" message when I try and check traffic incidents. I had the dealer check it out, the unit is fine, and he could not get anywhere with XM service techs. He went to the lot and tried the nav traffic on 3 RLs, they have a 1 year subscription, none of them were receiving any data. It has the potential to be a great tool on my commute, but is currently useless.
Anyone else in the Denver metro area having similar problems?
