iPhone 4s No Notification Sounds
iPhone 4s No Notification Sounds
So my iPhone 4s synchs pretty well with my 2010 RDX-Tech, and I've fixed that pesky phonebook issue many here complain about. What I can't figure out is why my phone will not make any sounds (i.e. new email, new text message, key clicks) once Bluetooth has synched up the phone and the RDX. Doesn't matter if the phone is plugged in or not, and doesn't matter if the phone's mute switch is set to mute or not. Anyone have a solution to this? It's difficult to hear the phone vibrate for a new message between the car's noise and the road noise. Any help much appreciated!

My question back, is, how would one activate Siri without touching the phone?
I just bought an MDX and had the same problem until today. When you are in your vehicle with the iPhone Bluetooth synced, access your music on your iPhone. Play a song. There will be an icon next to the forward button (which is next to the play button) with a rectangle and triangle. Push this button and it will give you the option to play audio through your vehicle or through the iPhone. Select the iPhone and all of your normal sounds come back!
