Help Installing LOC in my RDX

Ok, here goes! I'm trying to locate a good area to install my LOC. I've already tried tapping into the back surround speakers..no go. I can't figure out how to get access to the sub without shredding my hands even more on the sharp, oh so very sharp plastic edges. (I've read this is the best place to do it back I just can't figure out how to access the sub in my RDX )

Now, I've also tried hooking up the LOC directly after the wiring harness of the HU using the sub wires....no go. I've looked at the stock amp (which I'm assuming is under the HU) but the wiring in there is very tight!

Has anyone else had some experience with installing this on a RDX? I have a 2007 with tech. The LOC I'm using is a Stinger brand. I'm ready to rip my hair out and do some smashing with a nice sledge hammer! LOL

I've search my little pants off looking for info, and I've learned quiet a bit, but still need a little help.

Thanks!

Josh

Just wanted to add this info too....maybe it will help.

I obtained the wiring information for the HU in the RDX. Model DVZ-MG6067ZH. When I'm looking at the speaker wiring coming from the head unit there is a positive and negative for each speaker plus a wire that is called 'shield ground'. For example, the output from the HU for the sub wires are Pin 2 - SW Shield GND, Pin 3 SW PRE -, Pin 19 - SW PRE +.

I have tried hooking up the SW PRE - and SW PRE + to the left speaker input of my LOC. (From what I've read you only use on 1 channel and then split it back to 2 rca's) Should the SW Shild GND be used? Should that be used instead of the SW PRE -? How do they get the caramel inside the chocolate? Hope this info helps

Cheers!

Thanks again DeEjAy_LiM!

Here's a shot of the Blade Amplifier - 1994 - BTW - the box is blue because it was installed in my 1988 Toyota Celica about 10 years ago.
Yes, I will be re-carpeting it.

- 2 - 12" Kicker Solo-baric Subs - 1994

- 4 gauge power wire for the amp. There is a gromlett hidden from view on the right side of the master cylinder.

- power wire from the inside coming in

- different shot

- power wire down drivers side doorway

- here's how to remove those cargo net hooks in the trunk so you can access the factory subwoofer

- I ran the remote wire for the amp to the front and tapped into the accessory plug in the front. (I hooked it up properly after this pic was done lol)

Hope this helps someone else
