front speaker buzzing?
Long time reader... first time poster.
First of all, just wanted to thank the members of this forum for helping me with my purchase decision. After reading post after post for the last few months, I realized that I am in that niche market that the RDX is targeting. I picked up my CGP with Tech 2 weeks ago and couldn't be happier. The only slight bug I'm noticing is a buzzing sound coming from the front speaker (middle dash). It is not as obvious when listening to music but very noticeable (and annoying) when listening to any talk radio, even XM. Has anyone encountered this?

I listened to NPR talk radio during one of my test drives in a Tech, and didn't notice any issues -- chances are it's a rattle/defect on your RDX that can be fixed. If you can easily pop the speaker grille off, take a look to see if anything is loose or rattling, otherwise ask the dealer to look. it could be something loose on the speaker cone, or a loose part. It's not unheard of for some speaker cones to make noise either, if they are defective.
I thought your comment about realizing you were "in the niche market" was funny. It's taken me about 3.5 months to come to that conclusion, and I am just trying to overcome practicality and common sense at this point!

I notice a buzz when listening to AM radio. I dont think its a rattle, it seems to be an issue with the speakers themselves. I turn down the bass and treble and it helps but I can't have the AM volume up too high

I had the dealer replace the front speakers (no charge)... problem solved. Now, I'm just waiting for them to replace one of the seat belts in the back. Seems that there was something loose in the locking mechanism that would rattle when going over bumps. I confirmed this when I sat in the back, engaged the seat belt and the rattle went away. That would take care of the only "bugs" I've found...
Overall, still lovin' my new ride!
