Creative ZEN Vision:M
I hate Apple and will never give those bastards a nickel, but that's another story in and of itself. Instead I own the Creative ZEN Vision:M, a much superior product. Only downside is the lack of accessories. Anyone know if it is possible to marry a non I-POD product with the I-pod link technology? Would like to integrate my MP3 player with the OEM stereo.

I'm sure its very possible, but it would depend on the device you have as to how much of it is possible.
-Does it have the equivalent of a dock connector?
-Does it charge through this connector?
-Does it charge at the same voltage as the ipod?
-Can you control track skip forward/back through this connector?
-Does it talk the same language as the ipod?
Now even if all the answers are yes, which I doubt, can you get the information you need to build your own cable?
The best solution is probably to either use the aux in port, or if you really just want the device hidden, you can install a USA Spec box that gives you aux in behind your dash, but then you have other problem to deal with like having the device stop playing when you turn the car off. or having it start when you start the car. You'd have to do all that manually.

Apple/iPod haters are stuck using the aux-in, unfortunately -- it's a form of punishment :-). Of course, some cars don't even have aux-in, so you're still in good shape! I think you should just give up the hatin' and love Apple -- they pretty much have built an entire eco-system around the iPod at this point. Resistance is futile...

I think Hunters got it about right. Love my ipod. But if Acura isn't doing a very good job integrating it, how will you integrate a Zen into their already over complicated system.
I'm only using my music link as an expensive ipod charger.

I wonder if Acura have any plans to better integrate the iPod. I would love to use the console to navigate my library. If I had a good iPod integration, I wouldn't need a 6-CD/DVD changer. I could get by on a single CD/DVD. Also, they can keep the XM. It would be nice to have choice between XM and Sirius. There are no sports on XM.
