I have had my 2007 Acura RDX since 2019 and I love it. Whenever it’s very cold, the radio crackles and pops even if it’s not turned on. I’ve researched it a little bit and it sounds like the amplifier may be the problem. There are videos on how to fix the amplifier, but I’m not really into soldering the board and all of that. Is there a recommended replacement for the stock amplifier that I could get and easily swap out?

 

My 2007 sound system distorts from all speakers. Love the subwoofer but the distortion has become a deal-breaker for my teenage son.

Considering buying a used unit off Ebay.

Anyone done this on a first-gen RDX?

 

thewe cars suck for system upgrades, especially the Rdx
but this guy specializes in it. He builds plug n play kits to make it easier. Plus he does videos.
