Wood Trim: Yay or Nay?

What do you guys think of the wood trim on the RDX? I have to say, it's kind of grown on me. At first I didn't care for the matte finish, but now I think it looks quite nice on the dash (a bit reminiscent of the optional wood I've seen on Land Rovers/Range Rovers). I still don't care for the steering wheel pieces though.

When i first saw it i thought it looked horendous, and i thought it takes away from the RDX's sportiness. i must admit it looks better with the taupe interior though...

Thumbs up Rare

After living with it for quite sometime now, I like the uniqueness it gives my RDX.

This low-key, termite-proof product is a fitting addition to the RDX image.

If you are looking for the Lexus like appearance of a highly polished medium brown, wood grain look, this is not it.

I agree that the wood trim would look pretty silly with a black interior. With the taupe interior, I can see how some people would like it.

BTW - I notice that someone is selling a full wood-look trim kit for the RDX on EBay. I have no idea how this will look in real life, though.

Taupe works well with the woody trim. Now, if they offered real brushed aluminum, as opposed to silver plastic trims, that would of been sick.

The RDX is a carbon fiber vehicle, not fake wood!

The RDX I test drove had black interior with wood trim and it looked pretty good. Not good enough for me to get it though.....
