Are we getting a great price?

My girlfriend and I just got into an accident that totaled her car; completely the other guy's fault. Since she needs a new car I suggested a RDX as she wants to stay with an SUV.
We found one at a local, non-acura, dealership. It's a 2011 with 40k, nav and SH-AWD for $23k. I've done my research and I think I got her a pretty good deal.
Did you get a great deal? What did you pay for yours?

I purchased my 08 RDX used with 30,000 miles in 2010. I now have 108,000 miles and have not regretted that decision ever. As long as it is in the color combo she wants and she enjoys driving this type of vehicle; price is what you think it is worth. A very good thing about the 2011 is it should have some of the factory warranty left and you still have the powertrain until 70,000 miles. I really doubt you would need a extended warranty for a 2011 model; Acuras are usually very rock solid by the MMC.

Actually, that is a great price for a 2011 AWD with Tech Package. Look up KBB to verify and make sure you get a Carfax. Seems actually low to me since the AWD and Tech Pack were a $5K increase in price over the FWD non-tech pack. Check out Carmax and Ebay motors for similar cars and pricing.

I just bought my 2010 tech FWD w/50k for 21,750 from a private party and I felt I did ok. 23 for yours seems pretty solid.

Thanks guys! We got the carfax and it was a one owner car, off a lease. It still has 7 months and about 9k on the bumper to bumper then the rest on the factory warranty. Of course the dealership tried to sell us an extended warranty also, but obviously they didn't have a strong sales position since its already covered. I'm really happy with it, we're going back to sign the papers today actually. She's gonna love driving it!

I got an 07 RDX with 104k and non tech for 11k in October last year. I did have to replace the front axle seals and the A/C field coil/clutch but feel it was still a good deal since repair shop only charged me $650 for the repairs. I really enjoy my RDX, it is the nicest car I have ever owned.

I got 2011 SHAWD non navi w 18k miles for $24,000 couple months ago. I've had some issues on mine fixed under warranty. I'm thinking of purchasing extended warranty because i probably would have paid out $2000 for 5 dealership visits. One owner off lease like you.

Just out of curiosity, How much were they offering for Acura extended warranty? Terms?

I've had some electronic issues where constantly something pops up on the dash "i" button thingy

If it was 1 owner off lease didn't you get a CPO warranty?

Well your powertrain should last another two years beyond your B2B, so consider that before you purchase an extended contract. If your issues seem to be related to the engine, then your coverage is still good for a while yet.

Yeah thanks. In my case It has not been power train related. Little things like door ajar light constantly being on, back seat fold down lever being broken, constant low oil reminder, etc.

Yikes...very odd ones too, don't think I've seen any of those mentioned before. Sounds like the unfortunate "Friday car".
