VIN Numbers (Canada vs US?)
I have a quick question about VIN numbers for the RDX...
1) Do the US and Canadian models have different VINs? (ie: up to the specific model S/N)
2) My RDX supposedly just came off the line, and has the last 5 digits as 02xxx. Does this make sense?? I've seen some of the US RDXs in the 8000's and 10000's, so I'm a little confused...

I think I found the answer... should have looked harder the first time.
12th digit on US cars is 0
12th digit on CDN cars is 8
remaining 5 digits are the S/N unique to each RDX.
Just in case anyone else runs into the same question down the road...

Yes, Canadian VIN's are different. I believe the last five digits relate to number of Canadian cars made. I am picking mine up tonight, and it is 01824. It was made mid-December. The US VIN's are in the 10's of thousands by now.
