Trying to decide on a color

Trying to decide on a color
Hey everyone! I'm looking at joining the RDX family once my local dealership gets their next shipment in (all sold out right now! ) during May 2007. They only have two colors coming in, the Nighthawk Black on black leather or two Carbon Grays one black and one taupe.
Now I can find a lot of pictures of the Black RDX, but not many pictures of the Carbon Grays (other than the ones that Acura has on their site). Can anyone post pictures of this color? In some shots it looks like a tint of blue rather than gray, so I'd like to get a better feel of what the Carbon Gray looks like, and it seems like a lot of people out there have that color judging by the "sign in" thread! Please help me!

Black is one of my favorite colors on a car but I went with silver because if you dont like washing and waxing your car all the time black will look dirty after you drive it home from the dealer. It can rain and the silver/ and carbon greys still look clean. But when its clean black looks amazing on the RDX.

I would go with some color that hides normal rain and road dirt, etc. best. I went with the royal blue because I had a silver car previously and wanted something different. Like the black it looks fantastic when clean but it gets dirty looking very fast. Silver, white, and the carbon grey are probably best for daily driving unless you don't mind more frequent trips to the car wash.

I have a Carbon Gray, but I was thinking of getting a Carbon Bronze as it is very classy, but ironically also close to the hue of "dirt" and so won't show dirt very easily. I had a friend years ago that said that he only ever bought "dirt colored" cars for that reason. The CBP finish has some interesting lighting effects that will be dulled by the presence of dirt, but the color will camouflage the actual dirt itself.
(For that matter, in snowy climates, wouldn't white be better during winter months for being closer to the color of salt grime - or is the grime gray like old snow?)

Having Carbon Gray, it does show dirt fairly quickly. Probably not as quickly as my previous dark blue car since it is neutral in hue, but it does show up.
Even worse, the birds seem to love the Gray - it's like it matches their pattern recognition for "pond to *$%@ in" or something. More bird droppings per minute than my last car had in a month... :-(

My personal favourite is White exterior with black interior.
The white exterior makes the RDX seem bigger without losing it's sporty appearance. Granted it is much harder to keep clean.
The black interior always looks classy, while also remaining techy looking. it is probably easier to maintain a black interior than a taupe, due to the potential ease of staining.
The carbon bronze looks "blend"... it is unique in colour, granted, ... but somehow the RDX loses it's overall character with that colour.
Carbon gray looks nice with that metallicky apearance, but again, after a while, it gets a little blend...
JMHO...

I have the Carbon Bronze w/ Taupe. I wanted Silver w/Embony, but dealer with great deal did not have. I have to say I'm very happy with the Carbon Bronze w/ Taupe. Once you start driving your RDX, you will be so happy you will forget about what color it is.

I noticed that the CGP looked blue on the Acura website, but in person, there's no blue tint to it... a nice mid-range gray color. Classy looking. The only reason I did not buy it was because I wanted the Taupe interior because I thought the ebony interior they had in stock would be too hot.
