I purchased my 2007 RDX Tech used and I have a strange question regarding the front cupholders. Is their supposed to be a rubber liner/insert on the bottom of the cupholders? My TSX had this as well as alot of other cars, and it prevents the bottle from moving around. My RDX just has the hard plastic bottom, so it's prone to more noise, more movement and more difficulty cleaning if necessary.

If so, does anyone know what this part would be called?

 

They dont come with inserts in the cupholders. I bought some rubber inserts made for the RDX on ebay. I cant think of the guys name.

 

They are easy enough to make out of freebie mouse pads or maybe some felt fabric.

 

Mr. Wilson Wong makes some great liners that fit perfectly. They are kind of pricey, but well worth it. They adhere with double-sided tape. Get them on e-bay. Search for Acura RDX accessories and look for PadsPlus.

P.S. The RDX cupholders suck. Why they didn't put in those nice cupholders with the rubber fingers like on other Acuras and Hondas?
