Talking Stir things up a bit.... Help Picking a Vehicle

Ok,
This is one of the deadest forums I hav been on.. lol

I have decided to stir things up a bit cause im bored at work and need something to do... (other then work)

Let me set the stage. I currently drive an 03 4Runner SR5. I like the truck a lot, but it is missing some of the bells and whistles that i like to play with. so I am in the market for a new vehicle. A part of me wouldnt mind going back to a Sedan, but another part of me would miss the benefits of an SUV. The vehicles im considering are the Murano, FX35 (only if i can get a good deal on it), Acura RDX and the A4. All these cars have about the same performance numbers for straight line performance (except the fx). I am looking for things to add to teh list and to consider.

What suggestions can you guys give me for a vehicles that have at least 24 MPG on the highway, similiar straight line performance numbers, fundto drive, is AWD and has a lot of buttons on the inside. I would like to spend no more then mid 30's. I am looking to get it by the end of the summer, maybe even into the Fall.

What can you guys think of...

I have ruled out the is250 AWD - fun to drive - handles really well but too slow
Acura TL - Awesome all around but no AWD
330xi - too much $$
325xi - too slow
G35x - Quick bu Kinda Boring - needs upgrade
no mercedes
no ford
no chevy
no chysler...

WELL????????

i am definitely fan of all cars, and every car has a unique quality that i genuinely like. but there is a part of me that can not see myself in a Subaru. maybe i just don’t know enough about those cars.

Why do u feel that way about that car?

i would say for awd look into a subaru, they have some of the best technology in there cars for awd!!! plus you can get a boxer engine turbo'd that has tons of potential. other than that it almost seems like you are asking to much in the way of performance for the dollar, unless you are thinking about a power adder once you buy this mistery vehicle. my pick would be an sti if i had the money!!!

Subaru Legacy GT is fun to drive, has one the the best AWD systems in the world, handles well, has lots of potential if you want to mod it, has great reliability/quality, and it's not expensive(best bang of the bucks).

You can visit http://www.legacygt.com and you will get lots of information there.

If you are still thinking about the G35x and thinking about purchasing this fall, I believe Infiniti is coming out with the re-design this fall and it looks like 300 hp plus on the six banger

If I were you, I would wait until the re-design of the G35X comes out this fall - I think it looks fantastic and the interior appears to be much better than the current one too!
