Steering wheel

It has been bothiring me the pat few weeks since I have noticed that on the bottom of my steering wheel there seems to be no leather. Is this the same way for all of you guys? I have an 07 tech. If this is the same across the board, I think its a little odd for acura to do this considering it seems like something Kia would do to save a quick buck.

Never noticed before, but you are correct it is plastic. I think this might be more of a durability issue as it gets a lot of wear down there and some drivers even like to put a knee into the bottom of the wheel. Does not look cheap/bad IMHO.

I was thinking that it would be a durability issue as well. But you dont see this in any of their othetr cars. Or even other manufacturers. Ive never seen a three spoke wheel like it before, it really looks cheap to me, like daewoo cheap.

The same here. I thought I was the only. It looks okay but feels cheap rubber like the shifter.

Agreed, my TL and TSX has all leather for the steering wheel. That said we will be bringing a new 11 RDX Tech into the family in about one week. Nice car.
