Small Leak - Acura Says They Don't Fix Those
So, I noticed a small water leak in the right front pillar section of our RDX. I actually noticed the water stain months ago but foolishly didn't investigate further, I guess in the hopes it would magically not be an issue. Then one day recently, it was raining hard and my wife noticed water dripping from it. Not a lot just about one drop per minute. Well, that was enough to put her in a tizzy as it's actually her car and I just drive it on the weekends. She swears it's proof the car is beginning to fall apart even though this is the only thing wrong with it. I have a sneaking suspicion that her best friend's acquisition of a new Lexus RX350 has influenced her thinking but I digress...lol. I figured it was an issue with the sunroof area not draining water correctly and something is probably clogged so I took it to Acura for a quick fix. To my surprise, they did identify the problem as a drainage issue but then said they don't fix things like that. They advised that I take it to a body shop. Sounded like a strange place to fix it but I suppose a body shop could. The first shop I stopped at said they don't fix leaks. I haven't taken it elsewhere yet but am wondering if any of you have come across this problem and, if so, where did you take it to get it repaired? I've really become frustrated with Acura's service on older models of late to the point where the idea of that RX350 or a 2019 RDX doesn't seem too bad!

Thanks for the advice! Acura was able to diagnose the problem (I don't think I described it to them as a leak) but aren't willing to fix it. I'll try describing it better to body shops so they'll understand the issue.
