Screen for Navigation/Radio Cheap Screen?

I have a base model 08 just recieved it a few days ago. I was about to clean some dust off the screen and accidently grazed my finger over it where my nail scratched the screen. Is anyone else have a huge problem like this where the screen got scratched ...or is it my car that has a really cheap screen? i would think the screen would be alot better at taking scratches and marks but i guess not...does anyone know where i can get a good screen protector so this doesnt happen even more...i thought they would be some sort of protective film over it but wow i just grazed it and it scratched...Does anyone know any good protective screens to buy for this?

All and all i love my new car still waiting for my weathertech mats to come in.

Yes, the plastic screen is a bit cheap. You can get excellent screen protectors on eBay. I have one for my Nuvi 360, DSLite, and I am planning to pick up the protector for the RDX screen.

Esentially, all screen protectors are the same. Try to get the "thicker" versions, which are generally more expensive; they typically costs less than $10.

I think there is a built-in clear plastic screen protector in front of the LCD screen. I have not tried to remove the protector, but it does flex and slide around a little if you touch it. The real LCD behind it is much stiffer.

I dont think there is a built-in clear plastic that comes with the car..unless it was removed...by the people in acura. it seems like that the screen is just the screen to me....hmmm mine doesnt slide around either..i dont think i have the screen protector like yours does.....i too have a nuvi 660 and that doesnt scratch at all and that is touch screen. Ill check back in a little bit to see if there is something on it. But i dont recall there being any hard plastic protecting the LCD screen.
