I was riding my Vespa today and noticed that the cops were slowing eastbound traffic down to one lane on Lakeshore Blvd. As I passed the cop I noticed a Silver 2007 Acura RDX. I quickly stopped and asked one of the guys there what was up. He said they are filming a commercial for the RDX there today. If anyone in Toronto reads this they may still have a chance to see the RDX out on the road. I was very impressed with the exterior of the RDX. I would have liked to see the inside of it. After that I rode over to the Mazda dealership and looked at the CX-7. I can't say that I'm impressed with the CX-7's interior or the exterior lines. I sat in a luxury edition 2WD CX-7 that listed for $36000 Cdn. The dash looked good but the inside of the doors were all hard plastic. Despite it having a leather interior, the door panels were all HARD plastic. Nothing soft and certainly nothing leather on the doors. If you look at the Mazda you can see why it is less expensive than the RDX is likely going to be. The 4WD version would have been 40,000 Cdn.
